Please please put blocks under the powdered snow. The carpet is a one punch break. If someone happens to wave their hand as they land there will be a quick fall into sadness. Plus you know that it won't be long until certain hermits figure this out and will use it as Boatem Hole - Nether Edition.

Couple of points: - You should add a little secret in the chest dangling with the bookshelves - You could ask hermits to write stories in the books, maybe even make it a competition - Giant armourstand book (Cleo?) - Tree roots under island (Bdubs?) - Floating candles - Monster of the library (Warden?) - Green ender eye or purple carpet on the drop chute to signify the end - Add some bookshelves in the nether tunnels, possibly either side of the banners - Reminder to upload the copper farm schematic

It took 9 seasons for someone to finally come up with portal addresses. Probably one of the best QoL additions they could do, and they didn't have to ask for a mod to be made for it. You didn't mention it, but has a solution to the mob spawn switch glitch been found? Would hate for a Ghast to ruin all that nether hub goodness.

I wonder if it would look good to have black concrete "windows" along the tunnels using the nether star and beacon beam tricks? Then you could use the beacons to give a speed buff along the tunnels. Pretty and functional!

Tango, if you dig under the tree with a shovel and follow the rooted dirt, it will lead you directly to a lush cave. Also, there are usually enough roots that you don’t need to use a pickaxe.

This looks fantastic! You put a ton of work into that. One suggestion: You should add glazed terracotta to the entrances of the tunnels. Because each color of glazed terracotta has a unique design, any colorblind hermits will be able to tell which color tunnel they are entering more easily.

A Kudu is a very large antelope with crazy corkscrew horns, and given Scar's ravager adventures this season, I think it would be rather appropriate if Grian and Tango did indeed give him all the Kudus.

FYI: Azalea trees are DIRECTLY over top of a lush cave. If you dig down directly under them, that's how you'll find the lush caves :D

I love the idea with the address banner system, maybe it could be improved by naming them N 1,2,3,... for the North tunnel, E 1,2,3,... for the East tunnel, etc. to make it easier for color blind viewers that have a hard time distinguishing between certain colors. Unless that's too much extra work.

This nether hub is INSANE. Even the outside with all the beacon beams makes it look like it’s in the middle of being transported through dimensions, Star Trek style! I’m not kidding when I say this is one of the coolest builds I’ve seen in Minecraft. Congrats on all the progress :)

I'm curious if it would be an interesting idea to open detailing of the tunnels to all hermits, the idea being that the tunnels with the most traffic may see the most small detailing over time, personalized by whoever travels them the most - kinda what happened to the initial nether roads. Leaving open shelves to be filled could be one way.

In my opinion, there's too much lighting in the library. It would look cooler if it was mostly dark, with lanterns and candles sparingly strewn about. The shroom lights on the tree look crazy bright. And I actually thought Cleo and Joe's section of hallway looked better with the unfinished roof. Imagine a dark arch over the hallway walls, maybe with dripstone dripping lava.

If you are going with the color number address system, I would change the color of the walls to match the banner and to make it much easier to see where you are going.

LOVE the address system!!!! It really helps to have a sense of direction in tunnels like that, it's super easy to get lost usually - you forget which way you came down, which way to spawn, all the tunnels look the same... signs do the trick, but the numbered banners are super clever!! Absolutely love it. Thank you!!! Of course the hub looks incredible, but a huge part of a nether hub is actual traversability

The hub is absolutely brilliant and stroke of genius. Although, I personally feel the bookshelves end too abruptly and make the islands look like they 'stick' to the black wall. Maybe add walkways behind them, so they look more like they're actually floating? Just a thought.

I think X also said tho that he needed to install his own client-side solution since other hermits haven't been having as bad a problem has he does. Doc used Starlight for example which is better than Optifine (to keep up with the world eater lol) so his fps has much better performance.

Tango actually talked with X after his livestream and it turned out that it was a mod on X's side causing the issue and not Tango's netherhub. He also tested it with other Hermits to make sure and their frames were fine.

Remember scar's giant hat. You should make a one that looks like a book. Whenever someone get's close to the big enchanting table a big open book will be dispensed and float on top of it for a few minutes.

@@ThaFuzzwood It will, the only reason Season 8 was short was Mojang split Caves and Cliffs into 2 updates and the second part was going to be massive so they decided to experiment with a shorter season. All of the Hermits are planning to take at least a year on their bases.

This seasons nether hub might honestly be my favorite build in all of hermit craft. The astral library has so much details, and functionality as well. The whole space theme makes it feel like an even more unique dimension, other than the normal boring red.

Ok another idea: if the side tunnels extend far enough, they overlap with each other because of the differing heights, you can make connector tunnels that are verticle

I have a great suggestion for a bit of a sprinkle of magic to each tunnel... How about covering the wood from the tunnels that is exposed with black concrete? I think it gives the feeling that these tunnels are non-euclidean or something like that, and that they're actually floating portals leading to everyone.

The address thing you're talking about is called a Directory, and I think it's a great idea! You could make a directory at each doorway, and invite the Hermits to add things to it when they make more things!
