This scene hits home. People think just cause people grow up together or been friends 10+ years that everything will b gravy and things don't change. Nah, things change, and sometimes old friends need to part ways.
Damon Adams He’s not saying anything is wrong with having friends you knew for a long time ago. He’s saying that people you been friends with for a long time can change up on you and turn their back on you no matter how long y’all been friends and that’s something anybody can relate to.
Yes sir he made you think they really grew up together. Did you see his body language at the end when he gave Q a five??? Man if he wasn't on some bullshit
The moment Bishop said, "I ain't tryin to tell you shit, I tell ya momma you ain't shit", Q should've came to his senses and realized that Bishop was bound to kill him
So it's not a movie now? We giving real life advice? 😆 Q shoulda went on dj'n.. and then... bought a ice cream truck.. and.... He'd a been spinning records all through the neighborhood. Rahim coulda drove the truck... And he'd a never got shot!
Pac was an excellent actor, but where's the praise for Omar? His facial expressions and dialogue throughout the movie really defined Q throughout the whole movie. Khalil was great as Raheem even in his short amount of time on-screen; he was charismatic and cool. Jermaine made me want to hang out with Steel, as he seemed loyal; a gentle giant, you could say.
Tupac was such a gifted actor. It's really a shame he was so young when he was killed because he had so much talent and wisdom and character. He was a young hothead and that is what likely got him killed, but if he were still alive he probably would've gone on to do great things (even greater than he already did). RIP Tupac.
Well pac was raised in the poverty stricken areas of Baltimore, so I can understand why the wealth got to his head. Nevertheless, he was a true visionary with a prophetic wisdom that many artists rarely possess these days.
TUPAC SHAKUR COULD HAVE BEEN AN OSCAR WINNING ACTOR IF HE WANTED TO. SO TALENTED, SO MUCH POTENTIAL, SO MUCH OF A VISIONARY....CEILING WAS HIGH. COULD HAVE DONE WHATEVER HE WANTED.
If you really look at the shit.... Blizzard & that movie was the changing point for bishop. Yes he was always a nut but once he seen that movie he was the only one who felt that. Fuck getting locked up, I rather die real as a gangster(madman) was his point. Then steel clowned him bout that spanish nigga then cut to Blizzard. A nigga who was just on some gangster shit now dead. Ideology battles clashed once bishop realized that a pistol is the only thing standing in his way from true power. Fuck listening to Raheem cause he think he run shit. Q aint shit cause he think he better and Steele will always be my bitch. Thats how that nigga looked viewed them. Its fucked up cause he really didnt care bout them niggas
Michael Swinton Bruh you need a fuckin award. This is brilliant analogy of this plot. Fucking brilliant. I always had those same sentiments you just broke it down better.
"Fuck that! We used to be like brothers!" This line sadly foreshadows what was to come later on in the movie. The writing was on the wall. Something bad was gonna happen to the four of them and it was only a matter of time. Q and Bishop getting into an altercation like this was just a sign of what was to come.
It almost always is. Yes, friends will have disagreements from time to time, but once things get heated to the point where people come to blows, it’s the beginning of the end.
I know pac killed it but damn nobody not gonna say nun about omar epps acting I mean he came along way to.. I wish they both would of done something again if pac was alive but im glad they did they 1st movie together... classic
Omar epps is the truth, I fucks with damm near all his movies. from "juice" to "first time felon" to "in too deep" etc. I know he played in tons more movies that I done watched but those are the ones that comes to my head off top
"You gotta snatch some collars, and let them know, that you'll take them out, anytime you feel like it...you gotta get the ground beneath your feet partna, get the wind behind your back, otherwise you ain't shit! Might as well be dead your Damn self!", Bishop This is the best scene of the movie & it showed us that TuPac was about to dominate the screen. .. RIParadiseTupacAmaruShakus
"fuck that we used to be like brothers" yeah like 30 minutes ago when yall were stealing records from the music store. lol this movie went from 0 to 100 real quick
I think the reason Tupac did such an amazing job in the movies he was in was because the plots were centered around similar situations he ACTUALLY lived through. So it was easy for him to pull of the parts easily because he'd been though shit like that before.
Q and Pac are both example of the black man struggle of wanting to leave or stay in the hood. Q had his DJ going and wanted to make it big with that. Also had a woman on his side that supported him. Q is the example of the black man wanting to getting out of hood and make a life for himself. He see beyond the hood environment and that's not how he want to live anymore. Pac only see what goes on in the hood and think that's the way to live. Theirs nothing in between. He doesn't see outside of the hood but only what goes on inside the hood. Either live like that or die from Pac perspective. Both are fine examples of young black men growing up in these neighborhoods. Then you have the two friends! Raheem whose a father at the age of 17 and not taking care of child. Rather run the streets wit his friends. That's why the scene when his baby mother getting in the car wit another dude hurt him. He's not a acting like an man taking of his responsibility. Just a deadeat dad. That's why when Pac drop an idea on him how to get easy money Raheem was wit it if it meant providing for his child. Easy money come with a cost though sadly he didn't find that out till his death. Finally Steel, the friend who doesn't speak up as much only when he's back into an corner. Weak to peer pressure. Him speaking up could had saved Raheem life and kept him from getting shot. Good movie if you look at with broader view of the black man life in the hood.
If acting according "real talk" means going nuts and turning on your friends, then it along with those who practice it should just die with their false sense of greatness.
Best actor bro? I loved his music, but he didn't reach his potential in the film industry. He had the passion but was not involved enough. He had some good movie performances. But to each own
BeautyGirl570 it is a free country if any individual feels comfortable saying something holy with a curse word in sentences that's on em why cry about it
Look at the moment Raheem, demanded they reconcile, and Bishop, in the corner, calm plotting looking grimmey, look at when they embraced, that's the moment he became a snake.
Lol I never thought about it that way but it's true tho it is kinda is like a horror flick and this nigga Pac was on a killing spree in the place where he's from 😂😂💯
That’s exactly how I️ saw it when I was a kid. Lol. My parents wouldn’t let me see it in the movie theaters or rent it on video. So I caught it one night on cable and was terrified of Pac’s performance I broke out into sweats 😂😂😂😂
Nah, bro. Sounds exaggerated. No horror story at all. Just an urban street tale of childhood friends on the thin lines of respect and clout. It was just unfortunate that one of them had to turn on his friends to earn clout.
I talked to this guy like 20 years ago, he was the funniest person I had ever met. The day his death was announced I cryed to the ground below me for a whole day. R.I.P Tupac Amaru Shakur, my man
I always thought this scene was where Bishop took a turn for the worst but he really went crazy when he seen how much power he had with a pistol in his hands.
moneybag shawty shame that Tupac is not alive anymore He actions in.vegas on.September 7th 1996 were not smart hitting A crip like orlando anderson and Knowing He was out on bail. And on.parole He turned into Bishop.in.vegas and It backfired on.him RIP Tupac
1:20-1:45 pac showing how real he really was besides the acting. I really think most of that wasn’t in the script. He just zoned out and Omar Epps was like i don’t know what to say next 😂
I see where Bishop is coming from. I would be fed up with always having to run away from people looking like a punk and my bro just sits around like it's not a big deal. There comes a time when you have to stand on your own two feet and face your enemies head on. Like Jadakiss said, “Never fear a man if he bleeds too”
I think he did some of his best acting in Gang Related because he played a dirty cop struggling with a gambling addiction. Really underrated performance.
@@ajbahus I thought I was the only one who remember that movie.. Pac acting was excellent in it. I really believed he was a crooked cop. Dude was gifted
1:20 - 1:28 The finger pointing bishop did towards Q’s chest with that pint up frustration he has inside himself, is one the realest scenes in movie history. I felt every bit of it.
I got to be real honest, 2pac character was a psychopath in this movie, but he made a very solid point. You got to get the ground beneath your feet, and the wind behind your back, and go out in a blaze if you have too, if not your nothing, your better off dead. I've seen violence where I am from, and I've been in some serious gun fights throughout my life, and I really think the whole experience made a real man out of me. This is why a lot of people respect, 2pac because he is too real!!!
I feel bad for steel: He opens his door to them, give them food, pays for them to play at the arcade and in the end he gets bullied, shot and have his moms belongings trashed
