quick question, what’s the distance between the flywheel and the outer curved wall? I’m experimenting for the new vex challanghe and I can’t seem to get it right.
Hello, I am the Team captain on Turbo Charged. the distance between the flywheel and the outer wall is a little less than five inches. to be able to get a good strength shot from the shooter you need to keep a bit of compression on the object you are shooting, and the amount of compression depends on the strength of the object being shot. when prototyping we used temporary mounts to hold the outer wall in place, and adjust it in or out to try to find the perfect compression ratio. Hello, I am the Team captain on Turbo Charged. The green wheels on the robot are Andy-mark Compliant Wheels that we’re purchased from their site. The wheels on the bottom intake are 2inch wheels, and the one on the top shooter mechanism is a 4inch wheel.
