Turbo Civic Downpipe Fab + Install!

Today we install a PLM top mount turbo downpipe onto our ek civic project car, but we make some nice changes! Including making our own 2.5" 4 bolt to V-band adapter and tac welding together our 3" exhaust system complete with vibrant resonator, flowmaster resonator, and vibrant muffler.
This will be a similar process for anyone running a top mount manifold on their turbo civic, integra, del sol, crx, prelude, or accord. Hope it is helpful!

So far on our channel we have some older videos of us putting a Chevy LS motor together, as well as a turbo Honda b16. I'm hoping there is no more internal work needed in either of these cars, but if I pick up a new project in the future (I want a drift car) I'm sure you will see more!

Have charlie thermal coat the hot side of your turbo instead of turbo blanket since your clearance issue

I used this kit. www.siliconeintakes.com/aluminum-pipes/aluminum-pipe-p-764.html I've got a 90 off the throttle body, 45 down to the outlet of the intercooler, 45 connecting to the outlet. Then a 45 3" to 2" silicone boot connecting the inlet of the intercooler to the turbo, with a small ~60 degree piece of pipe to fill the gap.

@@kraftingkars I was actually referring to the downpipe buddy. Going to make a full downpipe for my integra and do full exhaust.
