You are dead on with the over 600hp is not drivable. My TT 03 cobra put down 797hp to the ground and first and second gear would just spin at anything over half throttle. Of course that was with street tires.

EXCELLENT show and tell !!! My dealer JUST did a S&S stage II (475 cam chest) w/PV TUNER on my 2020 FatBoy 114. And it took 5 OR 6 returns to the dealer to get that tuned just right, but once they got it .. WHOA MAN my BIKE is more fun than is probably legal ... like you guys said it becomes "visceral" SO to hear you guys talk about the ThunderMax and the bikes ECM it all makes more sense to me now. I am 74 years old so I am here to tell you you NEVER lose that "need for speed until you go sliding in to the grave ..." And I ride my 2018 Tri-Glide Ultra on Sundays !!!! THANKS for a good lesson - tutorial !!!!

Probably should have went elsewhere for tuning after they couldn't get it on the 2nd try. 5 or 6 times to get a tune right is extremely unacceptable.

Have a 131 in my Harley Trike. The guys in AZ would not put a turbo on a trike. Would not take my money. I wanted twin set up then wet Nos, been married 30 yrs so when its time to go for a ride I need to get it over fast. Great video.

From my perspective, I don't think you're being punished for non motorcycle content, I just don't watch them as an example. TO be honest i dont even really watch the MT-09 stuff as it doesnt interest me as much. I follow Adam LZ and a few other drifters so to be honest i haven't watched your drift stuff. I assume others would be the same whereby they follow accounts for a specific reason. Some people will say "i just watch everything because i support you" which sounds nice and all, but in reality, its hard to keep up with all the channels i follow so I'm usually specific with the small amount of downtime i have to catch up. Just some feedback. Keep up the great HD content

Blockhead my bike hits 140 ft lbs of torque at 2500 rpm peaking at 149 tq at 4000 rpm. V twins Harley’s are like Diesel engines because they are under square. You guys chasing horsepower like you have a sport bike is wrong . Horsepower is important cuz it takes over on a v twin after the torque gets it to the peak horsepower. On rhe street we ride mostly 2500 -4500 rpm’s. When your big horses hit above little above 5000 the race is over . I smoke all high lift horsepower cam stage 4 ‘s. I have a 128 big bore kit . I gap them by bike lengths while they are trying to get into the meat of there horsepower. Torque scoots Harley’s down the road not horsepower. Look at the dyno chart. At 2500 -4000 your horsepower sucks , it’s the torque curve launching you. Build your bike for the curve then numbers now horsepower alone without looking at a curve cuz you’ll wonder hey guys like me just rip your ass with less of money in the bulls I. Street . Now on a racetrack at high speeds an a constant then I’d like a talk horsepower cam. Bertini bike before the turbo only had 130 horsepower but it didn’t matter he had nasty wall of torque from his cam. If you put your same build blockhead in a street glide so it’s apples to apples Bernini would walk you up and down the street with that 590 high lift Hp cam you have to digit to get into the power for. Only thing good about that is you can cruise in parking lots and at low speed comfortably without jerking your neck from the low end torque and the overlapping cam

The reason we have 200 horsepower motorcycles are the electronics, stability control with IMu. Otherwise, your fighting traction and wheelies. Many bikes have launch control for steady launches. The new Ducati Streetfighter V4 ECU actually limits power first and second gear. There maybe problems with oem electronic algorithms for oem horsepower vs aftermarket horsepower. TC, antiwheelie, and launch control may not be as seamless and non intrusive. Problems with QUICKSHIFTER function. Does it have a QUCKSHIFTER?

200 hp on the Streetfighter is very different than 200 hp on the Street glide. The Ducati has a dry weight of 397 lbs while the Harley is over 800. I own a Streetfighter V4s with the race exhaust (adds a claimed 4% more hp). My Harley past includes a Street Bob and V-Rod. But as my desire to “go faster” increased, so did the realization of the limitations of the Harley so I had to part ways. I still love them though, and want to add a Fat Bob to the garage one day but adding this much performance to a cruiser doesn’t make sense to me. Not that it has to lol… God bless America! 🇺🇸 I’m sure there are ppl out there who might do a Hennessy Winnebago just to be the fastest RV at the campground…. and I’ll be the first to hope it brings them all the joy in the world. 🍻 😃

What are you running for a cam? Those are nice numbers, buuuut for a turbocharged 131? 131 should be making 150 with a good cam and exhaust injectors throttle body.. So the Trask is like what 6 to. 8k? For 30 more hp ish

Between 2010 and 2013 I was a student at MMI in Phoenix AZ, amoung my courses was high performanse course called "Screaming Eagle I&II. My project was a 2007 softtail with 1550cc big twin that was already race tuned. With the use of an exhaust pipe probe on the dyna and studing the burnt exhaust/raw exhaust ratio,and keeping maticulous record of the map sensor data, I manage to increace the burnt exhaust and lower down the raw exhaust, as a result I increased hp from108hp to 124hp and torgue upwards of129ft lbs. Best time of my life.

Why didn’t you use TTS or a stand Alone engine management? I don’t think it’s a numbers chasing game. Maybe having more horse and less torque is better for this. I guess my question is did you need to have a 131 or could you have done the same ish numbers with a 114? Turbos don’t really need displacement 1.6 liter F1 cars made 1500hp Turbo Busas and 1000s don’t really go with big cube strokers. Usually you go with a turbo Spec cam and top end with a forged bottom end. Then spec your turbo to your power liking. You can turbo a 600 they exist and are out in the world even when people “claimed” you couldn’t. Same goes for turbo Hondas making 1000whp with 1.6-2.0 liters Just forge the motor and turn the boost up and get a turbo cam with the right compression Big cubes aren’t really needed plenty of examples of it

Peak power is great and all, but that much power across the board is just nuts. Show me a 200hp peak power curve bike, racing this bike with power in the 170s from 2k rpm to rev limit, that bike will lose big time. Be careful in the rain.

i work at a custom harley shop in sydney australia, darkside custom harleys if youve heard of us, always love seeing others doing what i do everyday, we havent had much luck with the twintecs we steer clear of them however we have never had any issues tuning forced induction with the pc5. nonetheless love the content keen to see the results and love the channel

I've got a thundermax also and it has had a couple random problems. It's hard starting for one and doesn't always activate the compression releases, if the battery gets even a little bit low it won't start and kicks back on the starter. This is the new one they sent since the first crapped out. there is definitely a flaw in their software or something.

I have the trask stage 1 turbo on my 2018 road glide, stock 107.... I love it after working out the ghost as well....I found I have to keep it on a battery tender to keep the tune... My bike is fast and that's coming from a guy who started out on sport bikes....I can only imagine how fast your bike is....badass setup

As I ride a 2021 Freewheeler 114 with a stage 1 to help her breathe and with a tank lift and wind deflectors to help the heat. I see that trike sitting in the doorway behind you all I would like some information on it. Be doing stage 2 next spring as want to get more miles on her first. Doing 10k fluid change next week. I only get to ride part time for now that's why only 10k in 14 mouths. Traded my super guide in on this Freewheeler. As getting up in years but still love being in the wind. Be 68 in October. You made it a long way since the 883. Great going.

I have had my stage 4 131 for over a year. 12k miles on it. Among my three built bikes, the 21 FLTRXS with the 131 is by far my favorite bike. Much more than 150tq becomes unmanageable for the average rider in my opinion. Seen many people build out their bike, ride it a bit, then trade it in because it is simply too much for them. For those chasing numbers, just remember that these bikes can only effectively put approximately 150tq to the pavement without ripping the rear loose. Only my opinion, but as an experienced performance bike rider, it is senseless to overdo it with numbers. Besides, these builds are not cheap and money doesn't just appear out of thin air.

That seems about right to me… I have a 01 fxdx with a 103 stroker at stage 4 with nos. It’s pulling 159/159 with bottle on.. and it’s a touch more than the bike can handle effectively.

It's a build for the drag strip if the engine will hold up. I did a big bore and there are pros and cons. I won't get rid of it because it's a blast but if I get another one, I will do a Stage 2 torque cam and that's it for all around riding.

Exhaust reversion may be an issue affecting autotune at low rpm. may need to manually overide auto trims in these areas on the map. Love to see more of how you guys tune. I have a similar custom built turbo on a 96 tuning with PC5 and auto tune with wide band sensors. Full bar boost 583cams. Awesome fun

Keyboard warriors will NEVER understand how hard 150-170 ft lbs of torque hits and the fact it hits so early. My Ducati makes just over 200 hp...but at the same time, never gets more than 90 ft lbs of toque (and it revs to 15k rpm)...to have your peak torque hit immediately and never drop throughout your entire rev range is simply insane. Chasing numbers with people online will drive you crazy (since anyone who has done a cam now says they make 150/150...LOLZ) so its easier to just line up on the street with their bike and show them the difference... :-P I dont even wanna know what someone says their bike makes on the dyno, lets get out on the street and you can show me what it can do....all the "magic" dyno's out there that show a bike making stupid numbers that are nowhere close to real world is insane. All 3 of my Harleys make 120-140 at 2500 rpm and carry it out to 5800-6000 rpm....is the Ducati faster...yeah, but it is TOTALLY different type if speed

175hp 170flbs I used to build 113ci block heads back in the 90's racing progas AHDRA. I made 165hp all motor. I would run 3x75hp NOS kits. 2out of the gate on the full throttle. The other after I gathered it up I would hit. B&M cycles #3 plate holder 1994-1997 7.79 @192mph

You may want to give a call to Fuel Moto, they have a Dyna 107 with (iirc) 209hp, with a similar Trask turbo. That said I’d rather have that flat torque (not-a-curve) than have the extra HP.

19:00 is what you came for. Horsepower goes up with RPM (constant torque). A bump in torque means torque goes up with RPM. So, Horsepower goes up as the square of RPM. Anyone who has ridden an RD350 knows this very satisfying situation. That's the fun factor! There is no slowing down on the wall of death!

Exactly how I look at it. Just a waste of money so you can tell people your SG is turbo'd. I'd rather be able to jump down a gear on the highway, hammer on it and go, then hammer on it and do a burnout at 75mph. Riding around at half throttle everywhere doesn't sound fun to me.

Only for the enthusiast- people wanted to see numbers and here is a solution. Turbo sound is nice- Just want a more usable kit with just the sound effects with like 10 % increase in performance at lower price.

180hp to rear wheel and the weight of the bike is I may be wrong but 700 to 800lbs if I'm wrong sorry but still weight to hp even at 800lbs is ridiculous nice job fellas.

I'm duel charging my 08' Heritage. The motor finally needs to be rebuilt so I can justify doing it😂. But I haven't decided if I'm going to take it to a 103" or a 110". I have heard a few arguments for both. What's your opinion? I'm leaning towards the 103"

I put a 131 on my fat bob, it’s crazy! I know the bike is at the limit..everything. Tranny,suspension , brakes ect..., now for speed, and usable tq, hp, I’m sorry I have a Ducati with 218hp that plays so well. 180hp on a HD that’s not set up for drag...hats off to you, I just can’t trust the hd cruzer design with that much hp, tq, and speed capability...or maybe I don’t trust me on something like that

What about a build if possible other then screamin eagle and harley parts. S&S T143 long block engine Performance machine fastair kit/ heavy breather Vance and hines big shots A tuner Dark horse kit Grudge box kit Baker box kit Dyno Ect. Or something like that. Or even like what you did here just with a s&s t143

All that for 176hp, with that weight…I’ll never understand it. I have a stage 2 Velocity turbo kit on my 06 gsxr1000 and made 265hp on 50/50 pump gas and C12, bike is stock other than that. Doing that to a bagger is cool, i like all bikes but for me i think its more the 80% of people who ride Harleys.

Hay guys , Yes I am making my own turbo kit for a baggers ... The numbers are on a 143 cu has made 250 hp ! and 268 ft of toque to the back wheel @16 lbs of boost ..... and yes this is done on a dyno and are real numbers ...... We have done a stock 107 and got 165 hp .....and 117 with 200hp and a 131 with twin turbos that have made 300hp to the back wheel ......

I've been writing leader bikes for just under a decade now and I'm going to be turning 38 in September I think it's about time to step over to the dark side and trade and trade in the super bike for a cruiser. I've always thought cruisers looked cool and comfortable but just their power numbers I could never wrap my head around how it was always so low but send but saying that dinograph and knowing that that's possible on a bike that's as comfortable as a couch well well well slap .y ass n call me Sally but yall sold me on Harleys with that dyno graph..... Who needs 200 horsepower when you have over a 170 torque starting at 2k RPM all the way to redline 🤤.... that shyt gave me a chubby. And what's awesome about turbos is that you can have different presets with different levels of boost so you could have cruise mode where you just have like a 160 horsepower and then you could have kill mode where you go full boost and I have like 190. That toggle between power output like that is so very attractive...... I really to need to get my ass to a Harley dealer when I'm back home in America.

Just jumping in early..... Sounds like the waste gate is fluttering on dump pressure.... 8.0 to 8.5 psig and not holding a constant 8.3 psig as the rpm's are changing. I'm wondering if fixing / adjusting the waste gate setting will fix the ECM -map issue. ??

Is it just me... Or do the M8s not gain HP or Torque like the twin cams do? The numbers start high on the M8, but they're always disappointing number gains in comparison.

I would like to see this in a side by side race of a Kawasaki Vulcan 2000. Without the turbo and with or crate 143 vs VN 2000 with mods. This would be a very interesting race with similar displacement and v twin cruiser. Rice Hawg verses a domestic Hog.

I have ridden two 350 hp/350 torque V8 bikes which are on another level. I built a 300 HP trike that would made some people sick (vertigo) it pulled so hard...

Don’t get me wrong I think the turbo kit and the bike are pretty cool even though I’m not a Harley guy but it’s hard to get on board with it when it’s a 2146cc turbocharged engine that makes less than my 1700cc na vmax. Not hating it just doesn’t make sense in my mind that’s all lol

I like the Harley ,but 176 hp is great but here is wear the rubber hit the road , BMW K1600 gtl is 160 hp out of the box and it's fast how much is the total build cost.and buying of the Harley .ride fast stay safe

Looking at the horse power per cubic inch. I have a John Cooper Mini Cooper that has a 2.0 liter which is a little smaller than this 131 cubic inch and my Mini Cooper is turbo-ed and puts out 302 hp.

I would love to see that on a trike, more tiers on contact, Oh I have a question this might make you laugh 😂 but I have a 80cc engine I was going to put it on my harrow mountain bike but I lost it in a storage unit, so now I have a engine with no frame to put it in, if I had the money to get a nother bike it would be a fat tire chopper, I've seen them on RU-vid videos with 80cc engines and bigger like 125cc but what I would like to know is what would a turbo work on a 80cc engine
