I hate to say it but with the rate K swaps are going. The KSX won't be "special" in a few years. Whereas I really don't see anyone else crazy enough to build another Nisonda
@@StonebergerSpeedShop totally agree with that. I think I just like the KSX because the Honda K series can make more power potentially than the Nissan k series from what I’ve seen.
Nissonda is a beautiful car and the fab work on it is outstanding but I fucks with the k14 waaaaaay more jus because it’s still a 240 and not changed too much

Would be nice to know if this dyno actually is accurate and shows the right numbers.. 🧐 looks like it needs some resistance, revs up WAYYY to fast.. Awesome car dude, sounds great, doesn't sound like a honda at all.
@@tommybennett451 when he got the dyno he said he needed to calibrate it because he thought it was reading high since then he hasn’t said anything on any video
Its just a little off , the setup hes running is more like 420-30 whp and 370 wtq , he also has a skinny tire on it , the car wasnt hooking in the drive , its definitely more violent than it appears .

I ran a borg warner 57/61 on my b18c and the turbo lit up as vtec hit (5200rpm vtec and hit 14psi)and redline was at 9800. My car spooled so much faster than everyone elses 62/66 62/62 it was crazy. A slightly smaller turbo made my car a rocket.
I love how clean it is. This is one of your better builds considering you never paint any cars lol I love the sounds of it! Such a unique sounding exhaust.
That looks like a beast in the lot. That smaller turbo must make the mid torque feel crazy. A Honda motor that makes torque sounds like a dangerously good combo.
K series is the best 4 cylinder ever made. People hate hearing it, but it’s the truth. It handles boost better than any engine that came with a factory turbo.
Everytime somebody K-swaps, it still hits me what an amazing engine the K-series actualy is. It makes insane power. Dude you got to check Kyle's NSX out, K-swapped and sequential. That thing is so sick! K14 rocks
You could also just get a vaccum block and just use that source for the booster as a source for the block and have like 4 or 5 extra for gauges and anything else you could need. Nice and clean and don't have to take the manifold off.
Hey Jimmy, that vacuum port on the manifold is for using an IACV. Since you have a block off plate on there, that vacuum port is blocked off and will not work. There are some dimples on the underside of the manifold for drilling and tapping to add vacuum ports, or you can just add a T by the brake booster.
@@dylannix4289 Yeah agreed, i started with Honda's - del sol sir, DC2 type r, EP3 type r, DC5 type r, CH1 type r, CL9 type s (daily now). Basically been in Honda's for 10 years, and i hate how the scene has now become stance boys with stretched tyres and like you said fart cans. Hondas are about going round corners fast. I've recently bought a FD3S just because out of the box they are so good, and look like pure sex on wheels. I think these kswap are awesome, boosted boys and Jimmy etc are killing it - and really making me wana build something.
If it's about going around corners fast , y'all got a lot to learn. Going fast doesn't include spinning tires. Drifting may look cool. But it's not fast. And a honda definitely doesn't have the chassis to stick to the ground.

This is my favorite build so far besides Brian’s mk2 an the corrado I’m just vw guy I got a mk1 cabriolet I’m turbo vr6 swapping atm an I love to see vw content not enough on RU-vid by a good content creator

And dammit man, I have so much money into my built LSVTEC in my Civic that I could've easily swapped in a K20 (maybe even built it as well) and have been making just as much, maybe even more than I currently am. It currently makes 612 whp on 22 psi, but it can easily be turned up given the build.

It kills me he put in a Honda engine I get it though very different so respect in that matter I’d have to do a rb30👌 Each to there own though that’s what makes the car scene so good individual taste 👍
That's why you go SR20VET. My rockers aint gonna fly out either and I can rev to 9K. LOL Let me make something clear. No hate towards the K24, Badass motors and very capable.
This is so good! The entire car is just spot on, we used to be able to pick s14s up here in New Zealand for next to nothing and now we pay between 30k and 50k crazy!

Jimmy please got frerra or super tech springs if you plan on revving 8k to 9 or higher you need springs and retainers bro stg. Bc if you keel reviving like that your gonna hurt the head. Besides get you a k20a2 types head that’s the best k39 head you can get they flow more. You’ll be pleased with the tax type s k20a2 head please I would love to see you go k20 k20 that would be awsome
