Lots of AAA games after 2010 have EXCELLENT graphics. After that there were incremental upgrades in graphics and physics but as far as I have seen, it all started from 2010.
@@Thawhid yeah just like they are doing with iPhones too. Anyways, with the launch of Unreal Engine 5 which is now 5.3 has absolutely gorgeous graphics and details. I think now we are leaping into a breakthrough because of new features like nanites and real time lightning, games made in UE 5 will be amazing.
NFS HP got its remaster because it was the last game where people could relive their teenage adrenaline rush that they did during the golden age of Black Box games
Honestly I feel like rivals is the last game like that. I would even argue that, if rivals was remastered (i.e., remove the 30fps cap and fix the bugs) this game would be on par with, if not better, than HP2010
The problem with rivals turbo is that when you max level it. It activates faster. So it has no build up and is less cooler. I think the higher lvl shouldn’t have killed the epic ness of it.
It's an online game in an open world with tight streets. They made that so it could be more useful. Some camera work and sound effects at the start of it would be cool tho
Visually the feel of speed in Rivals is better, having a very balanced control of the car to use something like the Turbo in a open world map, but hp kills it with the audio, that silence before the turbo starts makes it feel more agressive and epic, also by having more power than Rivals turbo
Nah bro, Rivals makes me feel like I'm getting sucked on my seat and ready to die at any moment, just like NfS Shift (2) when you go too fast. Hot Pursuit just sounds cool
Rivals turbo is powerful but is very fragile at even slight health loss just renders it useless. And occasionally it fails to activate. HP(R)'s turbo is not so powerful as Rivals (you can't really reliably get out of emp range). But is quite resistant to distruptions only heavy impact would send turbo offline.
Everyone says that the hot pursuit one is better but in my opinion, nfs rivals hit most notes but better. While it didnt have total silence then the crash, it did have a much greater sense of speed with camera movements being a bit less rigid (rivals sounds like actual straight cut gears while hot pursuit sounds like 30,000,000 bees in my room.)
I never understood why people are so horny. I know this comment is a joke, but when you think about it, do people REALLY do this when their girlfriend says their parents are not home?
Cars: hp Story: hp Graphics: Rivals Personalization: Rivals Cops: hp Cop mode: hp Tech weapons: Rivals Graphics: Rivals Nitro: hp Turbo: hp Overall: hp Better game? Hot persuit but both are good😊
the one in need for speed rivals sounds like an extra boost from the charged n20, as if it were suddenly releasing all the nitro Charger , Unlike hot pursuit, which sounds more like the engine is being pushed to a point that it almost explodes from so much speed and becomes distorted from breaking the sound barrier.
Goes to show just how much of speed sense is purely sound design. I like the small screech at the end of the Rivals' turbo but nothing beats the bass that Hot Pursuit starts with
It's actually a turbo, not nitrous, they tell you this in game, it has limited uses because it uses a lot of energy and could break the engine with the pressure
Nothing better than full speeding your Zonda Cinque on a long, empty straight road and using the turbo to hear this heavenly sound and push the car far beyond its limits. Hot Pursuit forever❤
Rivals had an INSANE sense of speed, going 160 actually felt like 160 and made it difficult to dodge oncoming traffic It may not have been a very well liked game but I still like it, just because it’s different and the physics are wonky doesn’t mean it’s a shit game, you get used to the physics and that’s when it really starts getting good
A lot of you all are going to disagree with me, buts at what you want…Need For Speed Most Wanted still holds my heart. I got it when it came out. I am 30 years old now. That game got me through very rough times and is definitely one of my healings for my soul as I age.
