@tomashi423 the turbo never spins backwards, remember there's allways exhaust pushing the turbine the right way. surge is when the allready compressed air collides with the new air inside the compressor, since the air doesn't have any where else to go other than back the way it came from. this is where the BOV comes in
@fartnocker5000 Thats his blowoff valve making noise. He has a turbo on so when he releases the gas the pressure the turbo has build up has to go somewhere. So you got this valve that dumps its when its not needed.
poor little turbo, you need to get a BOV asap, its a cool sound, don't get me wrong but the turbo will have very limited life time if you keep running it on surge all the time.
@MrZexz not a BOV. Thats compressor surge due to lack of BOV. the pressure is actually causing the turbo to spin backward because of either no BOV, or not a large enough one.
Its not opening then... Maybe the spring is to hard? I had this issue (on a car) with a BOV... Changed to the TurboXS BOV and it really did the job. Just a tip. TurboXS BOV`s are LOUD! ;)
