I have a manual 997 C2 and could not be happier. Brings a smile to my face every time I get in the car. We spend so much time in a car, I figure I might as well enjoy the drive! It is my daily - these are not just weekend toys. Drive them every day!

Thank you for this. I wish our English Porsche Centres would do this sort of thing! I have a 997.2 Turbo S so my vote is well and truly with the 997 - peek 911!

Also great to see most of the comments in favour of the 997! The 991 onwards became a very different car, and for me the 997 is the last of the ‘raw’ and ‘analogue’ 911 Turbos.

I have both a 997.2 turbo s and 991.2 turbo s and I can tell you I love both in many different ways. The 997.2 is definitely more raw and less forgiving. 991 more refined. great video guys!!!

hmm I don't daily either really, just depends how I am feeling the day of and I'll drive either. I use both probably 2-3 days out of the week. I plan to hold onto these for a long time. I don't plan on selling them, but do plan on increasing my fleet lol

I've always been a fan of BMWs, I have had multiple BMWs throughout the years. With some models that I liked over the other ones. I like BMWs because they have solid power and handles great. But that's not my point here. I wanna say Porsches... they're truly driver's cars. I've had chances to drive a few and I really enjoyed them! Even a basic Cayman drives great and you just feels like you're so connected to the road and you have all of the controls within your hands. Amazing, amazingly capable machines. I appreciate Porsche by they way they are.

The 992 Turbo S is so damn fast, you’ll be glad it has PDK because you will need both hands on the steering wheel to hang on. The speed and handling of the new 992 Turbo S is better than a GT3 in my opinion. Only the best of the best drivers will eeek a bit more in the cornering with a GT3.

All new 911's since 2012 the 991 are turbos unless its naturally aspirated GTS GT3 etc...so they dont say its turbo but they are single turbos. The Turbo and the S are twin turbos.

I just think its cool theyre all turbos and Porsche just doesnt need to say it, classic Porsche understatement classic over delivery. @@OfficialPorscheCentreCalgary oh its 0-60 in 2.8 2.7 but really its 2.1, uh ya theyre all turbos but we just call the ones with twin turbo, turbo, Ya we've won more races in more classes than any car company in the world but we dont charge a premium for that, you can buy our super car for less than any other super car and oh btw it will smoke yours in the 1/4 mile but we dont have to say that either.

That’s incorrect. They’re all naturally aspirated (except for the turbo, turbo s, and GT2 RS) until 2017 (the beginning of the 991.2 models) 2017 and newer (991.2 - 992) are all turbo charged except the GT3 and GT3 RS.

@@lpwbeasty Thats what Im sayin bro all new 911 are turbo just the Turbo is a twin turbo and then the track oriented models arent for weight I would imagine. 2017 is 8 years ago... thats gettin kinda old now for a sports car in 2024 models right around the corner if not already making an appearance.
