I got one of there tao taos and I'm wondering if it's worth turbocharging it versus just doing a Big bore kit. From your experience with the turbo what sounds better?
If I could've did it all over again I would've did a big bore kit and the turbo. The engine is now worn out and very low on compression haha. However, I'm going to put a lifan 125 engine into it with a big bore kit along with boost too. I'm also gonna be going with fuel injection from a Honda Grom. I was looking at possibly even getting a used or blown up grom wngine and rebiulding it since it already is set up fir EFI etc. I'll have to make a new video update on my plans so it's easier to explain.
If I had to guess maybe about 50 max. It runs out of fuel to quickly I need to ad a fuel pump still. But yeah I'm sirprised too because I beat the hell out of this little motor haha.

Not yet. That is what I'm going to do next to it. For now I have a line coming off of the boost line that connects to the fuel cap vent and that in turn pressurizes the tank. Seems like when the tank is full it runs best due to the weight of the fuel as well as the boost pressure in the tank. But yes I should be running fuel pump and regulator that is why it cut out and i have to kind of chop the throttle and such to spool it up.
