Engine swap, turbo instal and new clutch in a 13 minute video. Jesus Christ, that would be a 10 part series in most time wasting RU-vid channels with countless clickbait thumbnails.
You have to remember though that the ones who split the videos up are way forward. The series way is so it can actually teach people how to do things instead of you seeing it done if you get me ? RU-vid’s a learning platform aswell
You're so young bro. I'm 33 and been doing this for like 17 years and you've just started You're giving me nostalgia. With the inexperience and just mad fun. Enjoy the process, but please remember to stop and think about where you are every now and then bud.
I'm even older! I remember the days when modding really sort of became big in the early 00's, post Gran Turismo (1997) Good days. Back when people were rolling around in modified Nova merits that they bought for £1000 or less! But people were so proud of their individuality. Each town or city had their own modding scene and everyone seemed to know or recognise rivals out on the roads lol. Back then, mods were so personal. I started off in a brand spanking new phase 2 Clio though. Biggest £13k mistake lol. I'd never buy a brand new car again. First quick car was a Nissan Primera GT. SR20DE with 150bhp. Progressed right up to turbo converted 350Z with fully built custom bottom end, via a few Civics. 1.6Vti, a Euro 1.8VtI MB6 Civic, a Type R Accord. I loved each car for their own character.
Most underrated car in the world these. We had around 40 of these between 2000 and 2004. (Courtesy cars for a body shop) sooo much fun! I learned a lot in these little things, j turns were an absolute doddle in them 😍😍😍👌
As great as this build has been, I really thought you'd be aiming for more and achieving more power than 114hp. Would have been better off to swap in a bigger Micra engine then turbo charging that instead. Like, one of my cars is a 660cc Suzuki cappuccinno, I've fitted a similar kit and I'm looking for similar power with an engine that's 33% smaller 🤣🤣
@@BigKrisMorris yeah that's true. Double power is great, but for a 1.0 turbo car, it is lacking compared to modern 1.0 turbo cars. Yeah this is a 20 year old design, but the 660cc in my cappuccino is just as old and making similar power now
@@keio5274 because these micras have an absolutely amazing chassis. 120bhp in this car in the right hands around a track would be incredibly nippy. I would understand your argument more but you have said you are turbo’ing yours aiming for same power out of a 660cc? If that’s your opinion why aren’t you fitting a bigger engine yourself and aiming for more power??
@@BigKrisMorris ok yeah, I see your point there, however my car also weighs a few hundred kg less and to fit a bigger engine would required alot of fabrication work. Whereas he could fit a 1.4 for a few hundred GBP and have similar power from that alone then he in a better position to turbo it from there than to pay and fit another 1.0 and to the Turbo that. I am sure this car will be pretty quick and rapid, but just doesn't seem worth it to get that amount of power from a 1.0 that's been turbo charged
I had my povo spec EP91 1.3 4EFE starlet Ebay turbo special tuned to 105kw running poorly lol with a hks fuel cut defender and 295cc stock 4efte injectors as the only mods
Great vids pal loving the content! just wondering if I can pm you about this shitbox I’ve got coming in the next week or 2 that would possibly do well for the reviews you do of others shitboxes. It’ll be great to here back from you 😊
The Micras can handle the power increase quite well, the Auto Radiator like Jack mention is really the easiest thing you can do before modifiying an EK Civic Alloy Half size Radiator
i know the rusty pink alloys are iconic and the first mod on boris u did, i’m pretty sure, but please for the love of god get some sexy metallic pink ones😂
Sick build can’t lie but defo a waste of money only for 114 Bhp should defo have engine slapped with a yamaha r6 or a suzuki gsxr 600 would of been rapiddd with some wide wheels
