i subbed.. i have to ask you a serious question.. i just bought one and it makes the same sounds yours does.. is that NOT a stock sound.. i cant find any videos that talk about that sound or even really recorded it.. i bought a 2015 abarth and those sounds made me love the car so much
sorry for the late response, I have no idea if you're still interested in an answer, but no it's not a stock sound. More than likely the previous owner installed a blow off valve.
Whats the difference between the abarth and the regular turbo fiat 500? I gotta get one of these cars and abarths and turbo versions arent much more than the normal versions. I just love that light green color but white works too
about 30 horsepower. I don’t know the exact number without looking it up, But it has the same engine, turbo, and transmission. The major differences are the suspension, abarth badging, dual vs single exit exhaust, rear sway bar, sporty seats, and you can turn esc off all the way with the abarth. the abarth also has a “fake” lsd electronic system which doesn’t come on the turbo model. oh there is also no boost gauge. I have a 2013 500T and the car was 5k cheaper than the abarth model. I put an exhaust, Intake, and suspension which is all stuff I would’ve needed to do to the abarth anyways so it’s a better investment imo to put that extra few grand towards mods you plan on doing instead of a bunch of tiny scorpion badges.
So I ended up getting this BOV (dual port) and it never works, throws a check engine light, it’s been nothing but a headache. Did you have any issues at any point?

@@martini9974 No worries at all Bud 😉 Honestly, I've had absolutely zero issues with the BOV. Had it installed and tuned by an Abarth savvy mechanic. Mine is a Series 3, and they have no issues, but Series 4 are known to have a few issues
