Kris, I hope you and Kim had a very Merry Christmas. Aircraft, and a sweet GTO - doesn't get much better than that! 👍😎👍 You had turbulence there just like driving on Massachusetts roadways! Our tax dollars at work (for Beacon Hill - not us!). Kim's a veteran already - the bumps didn't even phase her. 👍 Great to see Max there - I need to watch more of his vids. Not enough hours in the day to watch everyone, unfortunately! I think I do 30 hours a week here as it is, LOL. I took a pay cut in '19 - not enough time for working, thanks to RU-vid. 😂

When we lived in Florida, the natives told us that palm trees were just old folks homes for palmetto bugs. Even at that, I didn't see any of them cutting any of theirs down!
Well that was cool. I know that airport and area very well. One of the call signs you heard on the radio, 17409, I have flown before. It was fun to hear the call sign on the radio, but it wasn't me in the plane at the time. I always love going to the pier and seeing what's going on. Friendly tip for anyone flying into Venice, try to avoid the mornings. That's usually when the venice flight school students fly and it becomes the wild west! You lucked out with the winds because it probably kept most of the students on the ground. Merry Christmas guys!

SteveO was in the Right seat. The Baron explained that he did not have a lot of SteveO footage and this video was about meeting up with Max. He said there would be a subsequent SteveO video.
Who cleared you to land?😁 I hate the drama of guys like Jim Cantori when a storm is coming in. I saw him wearing riot gear once. Although, I survived Hurricane Michael last year. I grew up here in the Panhandle, and I've never seen anything close to that. I guess U shouldn't be surprised. It was a Cat 5
At first when reading the heading I thought it was about Venice Beach,California. Until I watched. ha ha. I thought where’s he land? LAX or Santa Monica?

As a caution in case of a take off emergency i would not raise my landing gear until i was clear of the runway. Only another couple of seconds but you never know. Might just give you a much needed safty exit.
