I remember driving with my mom and this song was on the radio. I asked her to write down the name of it. She died three years ago and this is my first time hearing it since many many years ago.

More than 15 yrs ago I listened to this song,, reminds me to that man I truly loved back in London but it didn't mean to be together.. Always remember the good in that relationship and this song plays huge part on that.. Thanks Nick for showing me good music, always in my ♥.
Perennially underrated band - loved them from the first album onwards, seen them live a couple of times (London Palladium and also last summer's Towersey Festival) and they never disappoint.

I confess I’ve only just heard this for the first time ( 03/08/24) wonderful song ! I can hear about 4 different famous songs in this that’s very similar ..lying in the sun -stereophonics.. there goes the fear - Doves ..and maybe Simon and Garfunkel one ...can’t think of the others
Oh yeah! I never really liked music-then I realised I just wasn't listening to proper music-all i heard was what they put on the radio-then i tried the proclaimers (literally the best band ever) thinking 'well David Tennant likes them...' And now whenever i want quality i have learned to just go find a song or band David has mentioned!😂
I agree, i didn't know that they were 'little-known', i just had some of their songs on my iPod from some random compilations that i got given to me. I didn't question it, i just assumed they would be quite well regarded, that's how good they are. Very under rated indeed.

have seen these twice and have to say they have made it such a memorable experience, they interact with the audience and do things 'differently', fantastic!!!!
David Tennant brought me here :D I'm actually surprised by his good taste in music. Alot of actors/actresses that I've come across have awful tastes in music, but David's is actually pretty good :)

Surprise (months ago) for me when I saw he is a huge fan of the Proclaimers ! I love 500 miles ! Haha thanks I try to do my best ! I would like to study in Great Britain next year ;D
