The Turkey Creek String Band is an exciting seven-person acoustic ensemble centered in Southern Middle Tennessee.
Our repertoire consists of traditional fiddle tunes, folk, western swing, waltzes, bluegrass, and Irish jigs. Our unique triple and quadruple fiddle tunes add a flavor rarely seen in string bands.
Our group can lend a festive, casual atmosphere to your event, whether it is a wedding, company outing, contradance, festival, or any other special event or party!

Once I'd seen this clip of Jerusalem Ridge I made a vow to learn it before I kicked the bucket so that I could play along with this wonderful group who make it look so easy...…4 - 5 years of struggling later, I just have just about managed to get up to their speed and so it is a tick on my bucket list - what a joy to be able to play along with them..... Wonderful...…….. Thank you Turkey Creek Band, you've made an old 'un very happy...……..

A lot of folks try to play this tune here on YT, but very few manage to come this close to the original ! VERY cool rendition !! Kenny Baker and Bill Monroe would be proud !!
