Yeah man I thought about that after I left the range. For sure going to add a backer for future tests. I'm probably going to reshoot the three loads I tested that range trip when I put a red dot on for a better idea of how they perform.
Delta point pro came in the mail yesterday. Headed to the range to zero and pattern it again with a backer Sunday . I’ll post the vid next week. I also have a .562 and .570 sumtoy on the way
My M2 Benelli with a 562 choke at 20 yards about blows the center out of the target. At 40 it opens up to about 15 inches..Awesome pattern but I still like the federal tss number 9 pattern much better.
I don’t feel like I did that load justice with my POI being off and not having a backer. I reshot it this weekend with a red dot and backed and the pattern is wayyy better. Stay tuned for the vid Friday
I agree. Apex recommended a .555 or .560, but unless my gun is way low it seemed over choked. I have a red dot on the way for that gun. As soon as its mounted I'm going to reshoot these with the .560. I also have a few more chokes on the way to play with
@@pdoutdoors1506 I shot an Indian creek .555 in my 20ga with apex 9s and does well. Blue collar outdoors has done a ton of pattern test and had some great results with apex ammunition.
