A Chinese rescue team has helped free a survivor trapped under the rubble following a deadly earthquake in Turkey. The woman was buried in debris for more than 80 hours in the city of Antakya before she was rescued on February 9, 2023. China is among dozens of countries that have sent search teams to help in Turkey’s rescue efforts. Beijing has also pledged a combined 70 million yuan (US$10.2 million) in humanitarian aid to Turkey and Syria.
