I got the full Turkish barbershop treatment with a head shaving followed by nose, ear, and head waxing. I was really excited that the famous Furkan Sisman wanted me for one of his crazy videos.
*The barber is wearing a mask but at **22:50** he lifts it up to blow on the wax on the stick before sticking it up the client's nose? That makes a lot of sense!*
What an amazing video John !!! Looking great with the shaved head and mostache!! But, why did the barber waxed your head ? Does it help to take all off ... You look so good!!!
The waxing wasn't a true head waxing, it was just to make a funny video. They spent several minutes making sure my head was totally bald before they put on the wax, otherwise the wax could have pulled out the hair for real and caused problems later.
It seems as if he went for a simple cut but didn’t understand them & possibly has a hard time speaking up for himself . He didn’t want the cut but saved face
Head waxing is kind of brutal, but you look awesome with the hairless scalp. Bald is bold and bald is beautiful. So, you've decided to be bald forever?
It grows back, actually. Not fast - and seems sparse at first - but it grows back if you let it. If, however, you want to get rid of it, waxing it off regularly is a good idea. I love being bald myself and I wish I had someone who could do this to me. I'm using an epilator instead and it hurts worse than waxing. It will get better after a while. I just need to remove most of it - it's about half done, so I'm optimistic, looking forward to plucking all my hair off. I hope I'm going to remove lots of roots and loosen the rest, so they should come off more and more easily. Then it won't hurt at all. I'd like to have a smooth, shiny head at some point in the future without having to shave it twice a day.
@@rjcarter2904 I think I look better with hair, but I feel better without it, so I'm picking what's more important to me: comfort and sensuality. So it's not about the look per se, but about touching my head and finding just a smooth, silky scalp.
That was pretend waxing, there was no hair on my head for the wax to stick to. Almost every headwax youtube video is fake, I've only seen one real video.
My head was shaved completely smooth so the wax didn't really pull out my hair, it was pretend. If my head had really been waxed it could have damaged the regrowth.
