That grouping with the chronograph was pretty impressive.

I have 2 biocomposite bow from Csaba, a crimerian and a scythian. They are beasts! The crimerian is 7 years old for now and still works like charm. Nice review!

the bow is one of those things true lovers of them should make themselves at least once. used to make bows of ash as kids but didn't understand aging and many other things so failed a lot, but a few times they went 10 or more feet. but i never knew that arrows came in grains like bullets so i learned something new after so long thanks.

I have an older short one of these in 50lbs. It is quite a bit more wobbly in both directions than yours. You have to almost be as careful stringing it as a horn bow. It's nice to see that has changed. Mine has really really nice draw, and is very fun to shoot. I forgot to mention after 10 shots mine likes to go out of shape, so I have to keep messing with it.

@Armin Hirmer you need a special thumb ring for drawing in order to protect your thumbs... Turkic soldiers (used to) wear one for not decoration but for this very purpose to protect thumbs over long uses...

Sehr gute Vorstellung. Ich habe mir vor ca. 15 Jahren meinen ersten Grozer Bogen gekauft, leider keinen “Natural”, aber ich liebe ihn nach wie vor. Kaum Leistungsverlust trotz intensiver Nutzung. Das finde ich schon erstaunlich. Es gibt wenige Videos über die Performance von Bögen nach mehreren Jahren Nutzung. Ab wann kann man sagen, dass die Leistung von Bögen wirklich/merklich nachlässt? Du hast doch mittlerweile schon dutzende Bögen getestet und bestimmt mehr Erfahrungen damit gesammelt als die meisten von uns!

Hey armin. I also recently got a grozer biocomposite turkish bow. However when I string it the bow does not bend evenly. Even after letting it settle it still is not bending evenly. How do I correct this. Is the bow supposed to be that way?

Can you confirm that Grozer supplies everything for that price? The videos I have seen of him making these bows, the Horn and Sinew are the same as his fully traditional bows, but the glues are modern, not fish and animal glue. If anyone has the 65lb version, what croni speeds are they getting?

This was my first real bow after a fiberglass cheapy. I've been waiting almost 2 years to see you shoot one and get your opinion. I have a 48# at 28" right now it's freaking awesome! But remember 8-9 gpp. Is as low as is go and it's still fast enough. I can hit tennis balls at 15 yards all day long. Glad to hear your opinion! I'm ready for another! Thank you Armin and patreons!

How does it compare to Nawalny in your opinion? I’ve heard that the sinew on that biocomposite is, quote, “made of bulls testicles”. And the siyahs are held in place with hidden screws (one guy who broke it saw that).

I always find it amusing when you get giddy while testing a bow Armin. Good job sir. Side note: While I enjoy the reviews, and I from personal experiences I know videos take time to make and edit, if you get a moment, I do miss more straight up learning videos. Not a major issue, just an opinion.

It is because I didn’t see any option in the website to add on paint job. Kindly advised. One more thing, how do I identify which side is upper siyah?

How do you order bows from Grozer?

I was under the impression that Csaba used real horn on his biocomposite bows and real sinew ,that basically the only difference between this and the historical composite bow is that he uses modern glue epoxy resin .

do you ever use balls of fur or any other "silencer" to reduce the noise/ impact on the string? also I'm afraid to not use a "wrist guard", and also I would love to learn the right side thumb grip and twist. do you have any recommendations on how to learn this technique? it makes sense to use your right eye and a right arrow together, unless of course you're left eyed, and/or left handed. I know some people have a left eye/right handed, and right handed/left footed (they call it "goofy foot"). I learned the english way of 3 fingers, right eye, but the more I learn, the more I want to learn. Thank you for some very informative videos.

What an awesome looking bow! And it seems to shoot superb, too. This biocomposite technique really makes a difference. I have an Assyrian biocomposite, which also draws just as Armin describes for the Turkish. And it kicks the arrows like nothing. But is the decoration really in the 390€? The bows on Grozers website for sale don't have it.

Hello Armin, I absolutely love watching your videos the format etcetera, I am Native american. I build horse bows pyramid n flat as well as long paddle n short paddle bows. I’m running out of true native american designs I know there is more. THIS QUESTION IS HUGE!! I know tha i can not only be the one that have a hard time telling things apart. My very first bow was a grozer turkish bow ten 12 years ago. I see Turkish bows with string bridges as well. The question is, what are some of the differences to look for as bows fall under assyrian, manchu, n lots of the bows that i review. N the difference between how that is used by the bow. Does my question make sense. In the end most have a similar shape except the yumi which i have to own one day black striped even though i didn’t warn them, o have earned a lot of eagle feathers which are given in acts of bravery n honor. You mentioned the artificial or synthetic horn a couple of times. It is my understanding based on a video he produced that these bows are made with real sinew and horn. The difference being in the way these materials are processed and the use of modern adhesives.
