@enesa6489
@enesa6489 Год назад
Usually , mek-mak makes a verb gerund/infinitive. Çalış ( study/work imperative mood) Git-mek >to go gel-mek> to come otur-mak> to sit çal-mak >to steal oku-mak> to read Also vowels in suffixes can be one of these mek-mak according to the vowels of roots.There is vowel harmony in Turkish. But you don't need to memorize it ,u will feel over time. In these examples , u can see after i-e we used mek ,after u-a we used mak.

@mertaslankilic8967

"yor" ex: Markete gidiyor. (she is going to the market) present tense a little bit different. In some verbs the verb stem's last letter is softening, and after that using "ı or i" and adding "yor". If you want, you can add another suffixes after "yor". Ex: Markete gidiyorsun (you're going to the market). Have a nice day

Merhaba, I'm Indonesian and trust me, Turkish is the most difficult language to learn. It's not the vocabularies nor the pronouncation, but the agglutination and grammar. The SOV structure alone makes me headache However, I enjoy learning Turkish because it contains ton of words borrowed from Arabic. Warm Regards from Indonesia for all Turkish speakers. Iyi günler.

@LearnTurkishwithMuki
@LearnTurkishwithMuki 4 года назад
I love this question. Thank you for asking. You use "ben" to emphasize the subject or simply because you want to use it. A sentence with and without a subject is still considered a full sentence if the verb is properly marked with a person marker. The choice is up to you to include the subject as a speaker.

Hey friend, thank you for reaching out and letting me know how you feel about the process of learning Turkish. I can see that you are trying and that's all you can do right now. Language learning through studying is sometimes more frustrating than learning it through acquisition in your daily life. You are going to be so thankful to your parents in the future for putting you in a situation where you are forced to grow and acquire a very important skill. If I were you, I'd try and make the process fun for myself. Why don't you watch lots of media content in Turkish with subtitles in English? Identify your areas of interest and watch video upon video, and then move to songs, movies, interviews. Talk to people your age. Be an active listener by asking them lots of questions, make new friends. When they use a word you don't know yet, ask them what it means. Try using your new words when you speak as if you are putting on a new pair of shoes-- they will feel different and shiny at first, and then you will break them in and they will be yours forever. When you are unsure of a grammar point, look it up on the internet or ask me here. Just know you are lucky to be learning a new skill in a new country and that you are cared for and supported by people like me.

A Turkish person can easily figure out what are you trying to say in your above sentence, but unfortunately, it’s not grammatically correct. You have to make the sentence just like that: “Sen çok iyi bir (bir means a/an, in case you don’t know) öğretmensin.”☺️
@erdemm254
@erdemm254 3 года назад
As it is also addressed in this video the verb in Turkish phrase should contain tense and person marker. In your sentence "öğretmen" which is originally "noun" turns into "verbal noun" which then requires person marker suffix. That being said you shoud say it like " Sen çok iyi öğretmen+sin", and to make it more natural it can even be like " Sen çok iyi bir öğretmensin"... Good luck :)

Kind of. It is actually "gitmek" but to conjugate it you reduce it to its root "git-"

@@LearnTurkishwithMuki So it's git-mek in present And git-ti-m in past Thx a lot

@@injured_lion "gitmek" simply means "to go" If you want to conjugate it in the present tense it looks like this: "gider"
