Turks and Caicos -Ritz Carlton -Hotel Review 

Hi Trevor.I feel like the Point Grace Hotel is best with a Romantic Partner where you want to be just the 2 of you as the Beach is so private and outside of a random person walking by and the possibility of another guest being on the beach (we saw maybe 10 guests at most), this is true seclusion and quietude. They do have bar service from the attendant (I suggest a tip for setting up the chair and a big smile to get them motivated). Also recommend the bar at night PG and the restaurant for dinner. Be sure to ask for the menu at Breakfast as the continental is pretty fair to midland). They have bikes you can take out if that is of interest --we love to be outside and took them out, but will let you know the drivers are a bit crazy so please be safe. There is a great grocery store in T&C if you want to cook as the PG has a mini kitchen. The Ritz is much more of a "resort" feel with a lot of people at the pool and the Beach is much more crowded-but not too crowded and always seats available which are set up by the very attentive crew there. There is a dock where the Ritz Catamaran (which we recommend) docks so the beach is slightly different feeling there, but still magical, just busier. We went to one of the stores and bought some special rafts the you sit in for the ocean and spent hours in the water. The sushi restaurant which is also the main bar is a fun spot and usually pretty lively as is the bar by the pool. Let me know what else you are looking for so I can help. 7 days will be more then enough time on Island as this is not a night life spot. The casino at the Ritz is tiny and not very hopping-we are not casino peeps so didn't matter to us, but for those who enjoy gambling I think they will be disappointed. Hi Michael-if you are asking Hotel vs Hotel the RC Aruba has a much nicer Club Lounge with far superior service. The Beach area at the RC Aruba Service and feeling is also much better.

@@MichaelLefko It's Jeffrey. I like the Turks for ocean/beach..... food is not the best. Aruba has great restaurants, water is warm. Both Awesome, but I chose Turks over Aruba

It is big, others are being, like the St Regis. Will it be the same size? Are you a local?

This video has been so helpful!! We always stay on the club level and this information about the service is good to know. You’re absolutely right, the service is always amazing at each property we’ve stayed at, so I’m sure when it’s lacking a bit it sticks out like a sore thumb. @@KikiAndJeffreyPearl no I own real estate there. 7 stories is the max any building could be built on the island. Amazingly they were allowed to build that tall. The ground can’t even support that tall of a structure.

I understand what you are saying and the Ritz is really about Service as opposed to glamour and many of them are fairly mundane looking on the outside. The little things they do, service wise, can make a big difference. We have been coming to T and C for 34 years and the change is huge. Yes we loved it when WE were there and the only people who even knew about Iguana Island and it there was much more vegetation and nature 34 years ago--those shifts are hard to see. But as with all things of great beauty and GRACE BAY is that, people will find and it and they will want to see and enjoy it too...there is beauty in that. It's always more beautiful view by looking for the beauty ❤

@KP-jv8pe The government is over developing the island its losing its uniqueness. My experience at the Ritz-Carlton with service was awful. I would not go back to be treated like we were.

@shanew7361 I’m not sure if the Service was different for us as staying guests, however it should be incredible for every guest!! We’re heading to Eluthera which has much less hotels and a beautiful beach so we’ll report back with a comparison. Stay tuned.
