For y'all 's information, this combination is blessed mask for your skin but there are two types of turmeric which you have to keep in mind, first one is the kitchen turmeric which we use in our food, which is also shown in this video that she grabbed the turmeric powder from her masala stack but this turmeric is not good for your skin it can cause rashes, burns and can also stain your face, this is only made for food, second one is wild turmeric which is called kasturi haldi which is specially made and grounded for our skin use that turmeric and not the kitchen one. She has a point with the burn part. When using kitchen turmeric there are high chances that the companies who sources it do not use the grinding mill purely for turmeric. If they use the same mill for chilli powder and stuff you for sure would feel the burn. Also Kasturi Haldi leaves lesser stains as compared to Kitchen turmeric. Both are blessed with benefits just make sure it’s those organic turmeric packets and also grounded separately.
@@isen7 yes can use kitchen turmeric if you don't love your skin and you want reactions with that. We Indian use products wisely for our food and as well as skincare, in ancient India Rani's used to grind turmeric for skin separately. Lmfao.
Great for acnes. Soothes urs , yes it makes u glow!! But definitely don't leave it on for too long coz that could dry out ur skin. Also good for small cuts. 😅 If u hv an event to attend. Try a turmeric facemask the night before. U will definitely glow. 😊
I'm Arab but I used to watch those face mask hacks from turmeric back in the days of DIY youtube. They always included some type of flour to stop thr staining. I use chickpea. Works amazing

@@jessica3218 no no turmeric should be added but instead of regular turmeric add wild turmeric(in Hindi it's called Kastoori haldi) and instead of yoghurt try adding milk. When the pack is semi dry you rub it in gently in upwards motion and remove it. You can add some water to remove it if required. P.S. Wild turmeric is used especially for cosmetic purposes. One of the benefits will be that it does not leave yellow stain as regular turmeric.

Leading up tp my wedding , a lady was assigned the job of massaging and scrubbing my entire body with a turmeric scrub ( ubtan is what its called, look it up).Also this bridal prep is a common practice in India. And in 5 days' time I was glowing all over. In my wedding pictures even my back is glowing golden. Turmeric and all the other Indian skincare remedies give incredible results indeed!!
For people who want to start using kasthuri haldi....always patch test.... its is quite important to dilute it with calming ingredients like yoghurt and rose water and apply. But sometimes it can still irritate the skin. So be careful... but if it works for you, it will really work well
One thing I’ve been doing is cutting back on makeup. Slowly taking away the amount of mascara or concealer I use to I can just appreciate myself and stuff :)
Be careful if you're pale.. you might end up looking yellow.. having said that the 'turmeric glow' is amazing, add some yogurt and apply it for few minutes only
Try buying kastoori haldi (wild turmeric) Works better than regular turmeric plus it doesn't stain If u r regular with the use, after a few months ur facial hair will reduce as well Hope that helps
I’m Pakistani and I can confirm we also use turmeric a lot. For example, my cousin has a lot of acne and my mom suggested some turmeric. After she took the turmeric substance off, she looked so fresh and bright like omg, it works guys.
I'm obsessed with turmeric and in Iran we also use it in all of our foods and oh my god it's absolutely delicious, but I've never used it for mask because I thought as you said it was gonna leave a yellow or orange thing on my face

Use kasthuri manjal instead of curry turmeric bcz it won't stain and doesn't give burning sensation on skin. ( Original kasthuri manjal is cream or sandalwood in color)
I've seen so many wonderful results with using turmeric for skincare, but..... It doesn't matter how organic a product is, a patch test is always needed. You never know whether you'll have a reaction or not, always ensure that your grinder/mixy or any equipment used, is only used for that purpose/ingredient as the smallest amount of other ingredients, like chilli, can cause major reactions 😢. Use something smaller to get a more controlled covarage! Also can’t wait to see it when you do it again maybe test it somewhere on your hand before doing it on you face though 🤷♀️❤️❤️
2 things: 1. There’s 2 different types of turmeric. One for food, and for cosmetic purposes. Make sure to do your research properly 2. Turmeric is heavily orange and yellow pigmented. If you have a darker skin tone, this won’t really affect you. If you’re lighter and fair, this could leave you a little more noticeably stained. However, the cosmetic turmeric shouldn’t stain as bad, or at all, whereas kitchen turmeric does tend to leave behind a pigment. Again, just research properly before applying anything to your skin
Even i thought of doing it. I have dark dark circles and used turmeric face pack around eyes only. Well I was told throughout the day I might have jaundice 😂. You may also do it with henna. Just keep it for few mins though to get orangish tint
Do not use the kitchen turmeric powder on face. If have good toleration then it will be fine but if you have a sensetive skin it can be a nightmare. The turmeric that is used as face mask is called KASTURI MANJAL. It is white in colour almost like sandalwood, gives you an instant cooling effect..
Man, i used turmeric for my skin when i was like 14. At the time, i was totally unaware that it also worked as a dye... i was and am an incredibly pale white girl. Needless to say, mistakes were made i looked like a minion. It did, however, clear my skin, though, whether it was the turmeric or the hour of scrubbing so i could go into school the next day. I'm not entirely sure 😅😅

Please don't use turmeric bought as spice. In most cases the same machine is used to powder all the spices.Turmersic paste with dash of chilie on the side is not going to be pretty.
We sometimes use the cooking turmeric and also we use a turmeric that is specifically used for facepack...im not sure about the name but it looks kinda darkish yellow and brown combined
