Lyndon/Mr, Harry, just to comment on your video, you asked Mr Harry about rubbing down the Bride and groom on the Friday night in a Hindu wedding, yes they does rub down both the Bride and the Groom with saffron, they called it hardee night, they do it 3 days, Friday, night,, Saturday evening, and Sunday morning before the wedding ceremony, at both the Bride and groom house they do it at the same time, and on Sunday morning it has to be done before 12:00 noon, that's the last day then both of them will have to take a bath or shower with milk to help wash off the saffron from their skin, and then final wash their body with soap to get the milk off their body,
So we're on the same page: this is 2 of 6 videos that SBCS is sponsoring. All of the proceeds from these 6 videos is for Farmer Harry's trip to Antigua. Some of the best medicinal plants were brought here by our ancestors from India. Things like neem, moringa, karela, turmeric, betel nuts and and a host of other things. Some of these were very important for the different types of Hindu prayers.
