i think no doubt it was stronger even before that because of dark ritual, reanimate, show and tell, mana drain, DRS etc.

I could be wrong, but I would say not quite yet or pretty close to being on par. If you look at the lists of the top modern decks, they usually have a card or two that's not yet on Arena that synergizes very well with what the deck is trying to do, or that creates a deck not playable on Arena that is very powerful. For example: Amulet, Voidwalker, Living End, Murktide, Force of Negation, Urza's Saga. There is likely a very good new storm deck with the release of MH3. It would definitely be fun to see the top Modern decks go up against the top Timeless decks.

@@jasonb2089 As long as its priced right ;) I wonder if they will go further Force of will etc. I think the wide pool is great as allows powerful stuff with also cards to answer the broken stuff. Historic for me was getting very stale.

@@chaos800 maybe one wastes for field of ruin / moon type situations. Or go green splash / colourless llke traditional tron. But deck seems pretty powerful

With a lot of them having cast triggers, I think they would love it more than being hurt by trickery. Imagine trickery on the kicked mycospawn and it turns into ulamog, taking out 3 lands.

@@maze4465 You are using Tricking on your spells. Who cares what opponent/villain has going on lol Really Trickery should read, 'target your spell for 1x Red or kicked for +3 genetic to target a spell you dont control'. I’m sure the developer/designer knew at the time what Red players wanted to do with this.

@@dragade101 I had thought you meant oppo having the trickery, but I was implying you and/or oppo having trickery is good for the eldrazi deck.

​@@maze4465 If you have Trickery in your deck, its cause you are high rolling here. I dont think any player or designer thought it was actually going to target opponent's spells.
