Jim Davis played a deck built around the same idea, called Mad Cow Storm. Discarding a Bartered Cow gets you a food (artifact), Thraben Inspector gets you a clue and can block, Birth of My Lettuce to find land/gain life/get an artifact blocker, MDFCs avoid the problem of running into lands off Bolas's Citadel. It's a three-part combo: something to discard, a way to discard it, and a way to bring it back. Keep this in mind for your mulligan decisions. I like this version with the Phyrexian Tower. The version I play - based on the Jim Davis version - doesn't have a way to hardcast a Citadel. Ornithopter is a great idea too. Plenty of cool ideas to combine the two decks; I'll have some fun crafting a new version of the deck tomorrow.

My new favorite combo is..... Vorinclex into body double. Pass turn. (After countering and board wiping everything all game) Mystic reflection targeting non legendary Vorinclex. Starnheim unleashed for as much as possible. Swing lethal. Can throw Morenkeanin first. With the couple clexes out before the starnheim. Will draw into your combo. Cultivate and binding old gods for ramp and more removal. 4 colors. Use the world tree. Your welcome.

Goblin Welder is the name of the 1 drop you were trying to remember from Urza's Legacy that swaps Artifacts, and I totally agree that with the Citadel it'd be hilariously broken fun 😂😜😀 Same with Tinker, and just bypass even needing it in the Bin ;) Full suite of Artifact Lands to always have targets beyond other 0 cost utility cards like Ornithopter, Lotus Petal, Mishra's Bauble, Spellbook, etc... Could be a crazy fast build depending on luck and flex cards chosen. ;) Ohh, and I agree with the one guy, should have Sac'd the Wellspring's to the Lantern and saved 6 life, plus drawn 2 ;)

The mdfc lands come in handy for this.

Yo uh Goblin Engineer makes this even easier. You search for Citadel and bin it on ETB, then tap and pay R to do Trash for Treasure whenever you want.

INRE: Tibalt's Trickery It sort of undermines the turn 2'ness but it should make it reliable. What about "Throes of Chaos" As long as Tibalt's is the only thing in the deck less than 4CMC you should cascade to it every time and if Tibalt's hits another Throes just repeat? Haven't tried it but as long as Throes is on the stack still?

You could run the Artifact land for an easier sac for Trash for Treasure

Of course turn 2 infinite combo is balanced, its called magic not play a million turns, in and out. Fair and kind.

Phyrexian tower is part of the combo. Proceeds to toss it in the graveyard as soon as possible. Or he let's auto tap remove it as an option. Still love this dude but I think watching anyone play will make anyone twitch because no one is perfect. Which is why magic is super fun.

I find him funny and interesting about his decks' builds. But sometimes I get some doubts about the reliability of the match selection he publishes. Actually that feeling is not strictly related to him but to many RU-vid players. Ok, he plays (most of them they play) BO1, so he faces no graveyard hates at all. But In hystoric it's full of super fast, super control, or combo decks that seem not to be present! What about a game vs a Goblin or Elf deck, without any removal or counter? Indeed I saw games like the one on min 22:30... come on... Is that a platinum-joke-player?

Try playing couple MDFC cards to use less lands and you wont have that many dead cards on top
