Turn a scroll Saw pattern into a 3D printer model using free software 

Wow ! I've been trying unsuccessfully to do this same task by tracing directly into FreeCAD. You have just taught me enough to climb up much higher on the 3D printing ladder. Thanks so much Steve !! Take care. -Mike

Another great video 2day..sliding your pattern, a 3D woven basket, into InkScape then into another very powerful 3D program Blender as prep for another 3D program for ultimate manufacture of physical item made by your 3D printer resulting in a wax or plastic basket. Wow! That is a bunch of sophisticated software & 3D printing equipment. Yes, once a person purchases $$ these programs, then puts lots of time learning, experimenting/fine-tuning 3D printing...I wonder if just building your basket 'old school' method, cutting wood with ScrollSaw, might be faster...for 1 unit. So a hobbyist may not be inclined to take the plunge into this-advanced level- of creation; but production level, "manufacturing people' will surely want this info & appreciate all your efforts. Great video to encourage serious 'Scrollers' to take next step into manufacturing. Great information, thx!👍👍👍👏🪚😊
