arnaldonyc not sure about the model but his was kind of terrible. I would do a little internet research if I was you. what is important is the résolution of the image. if you can find one that is 1920x1080 then you have a good starting point...
no it would not work cause you would need a connection also to go on netflix or other streaming app. you might be able to use your mobile data by doing a personal hotspot but you need a decent connection
well... the point of the rakoo is to not have to use a physical device to your projector. but if the rakoo allows for tablets to be shared via it then you can (like you can with an apple tv and an apple device) if not then you need to connect your tablet directly into the projector
wireless audio if via bluetooth will have most of the time lost of lags while watching movies so I never recommend it. my setup is hooked to an amp which is wired to some surround sound system
It not really matter, anyone use this tutorial for doing presentation not watching movies 😅 except, using speaker bluetooth to your computer or mobile phone.
@@jasaanbranch4524 yes if you are outside then just use a computer with an hdmi cable, and download the movie on your computer to not have to rely on wifi ;)
The usb cable was plugged into a normal usb charger... but most projectors have a 5v USB out to charge any HDMI smart tv dongle like the fire stick from amazon
@@DuncanDimanche-sreview Just to be clear, that second USB is the dongle? Is that all I need? Any projector and a dongle? What about the controls? I thought all projectors had a specific power inlet/outlet.
if the projector has an HDMI you can put whatever you want as a dongle. google chrome cast and fire stick from amazon has google play of some sort I believe
@@DuncanDimanche-sreview thank you so much sir I have few questions .. 1. I am thinking of buying google chromcast HD/4K which I want to CAST from my projector. I want to know does it support all mobile APPS that has PLAYSTORE? 2. How Android Tv play store is different from android mobile play store? 3.How to browse AndroidTV compatible apps in play store? Help me. Thank You
I know this is an old video, no idea if you still check it.....but just wondering can i connect my laptop to a projector through this? i used anycast before but it sometimes lagging
hi and of course i do :) so you want to connect your laptop wirelessly to the wifi dongle attached to the projector. my personal experience is that with certain dongles you will have huge lags especially if you are ALSO using bluetooth speakers I had the apple tv (forgot wich gen but one or two gen before the first 4k model) and it would not be watchable. i think the image skipped or the sound was way off. but then I bought the first 4k version and it worked nicely So I would recommend the apple 4k version if you are on apple of course. if not then you might need to get the latest gen of other options. but if you can, then connecting an hdmi directly from your computer will be best I hope that it helps
Not sure how the fire stick works but yeah in theory it should work. The projector act as a tv so if the Fire Stick works with a tv then it will work with the projector ;)
branden8045 theultramangofighter ummm you need to connect your phone to some external speakers. cause How did you connect your phone to the projector ? wifi ? wire ?
mine is almost the same as yours but I'm trying to use smart view and it's all good until the popup comes into the projector that asks allow and cant push allow any solution
I think I need an onsite professional since I have absolutely no knowledge of today’s technology. Who would you call if you wanted someone to connect everything together for me? Tv repair guy? Seriously, I need a coach here
haha yeah I think that you would need to find someone to help you out. Are you in the states ? You could go on a facebook group and ask if someone close to you could setup you stuff or Cregslist also... what do you have ? tv ? projector ? what type of speakers ?
@@DuncanDimanche-sreview I have a smart TV. Speakers have oxtail connection and I want to buy a projector so I can use it for bigger pictures instead of using my tv. No idea. Thank you for responding. Kimberley
My friends tv is a roku tv but it didn’t come with a stick (it’s just supposed to be used via the roku app) any help? It has an hdmi port and we plugged it in but it won’t connect
if your tv is a roku tv it means that it is a smart tv and you just need to connect the tv to your wifi network... or so you have the roku dongle ? it needs to be plugged into the hdmi and powered also to work... and then connect it to the wifi network
you need to find out where the sound is playing... how are you playing the movies ? via a wifi dongle ? directly on the projector ? the best would be to add speakers to your projector
not sure which end you are talking about... but basically you need to connect the HDMI dongle to the projector and power that hdmi dongle by plugging it's power cord (usb cable) into a 5v usb port... some projectors and TV have a 5v usb that you can plug it into otherwise you need a usb power block plugged into an outlet to give it some juice !
But my smart TV works better in terms of streaming RU-vid from my phone. I don't know how to make that happen on my projection screen without mirroring my phone screen with all the messages etc.
Hi, my projector has a USB out but it doesn't supply enough power for my firestick to turn on- is there a way to power these smart dongles through the wall, or do you have any other suggestions?
Rohini Mathur hi there ! Ummm you can just bring an extension cord next to the projector to with a usb power outlet to power your firestick. I’m not sure what you mean by “through the wall” :) You can also use an external battery pack (big enough to supply it for a movie) but you will have to keep recharging your battery every time you need to use your projector.
being wireless does mean much I think... is it a HDMI wireless system ? or is it a smart projector ? if it is a wireless system then it should have a wifi dongle to connect it to you AV system or DVD player
ummmm good question. first of all not all smartphones can output via their charging port. So you have to look at your iphone specs and find out if it can do that. If it can then you need to get a dongle that has vga to micro usb or usb-c or lightning port if you have an iphone...
Wow u change the world with this very important knowledge. Sir now please tell us how to update the projector settings and colour options how we can update?
I connected an hdmi cord to my roku tv (the screen is broken) the mini projector says no signal I’ve tried the tv in the living room that works and multiple hdmi ports Any advice?
ummm it's definitely a problem with your projector are you sure that you are able to power the ruku tv with enough power ? sometimes the usb in the projector is not powerful enough to power smart tvs do you have an other smart tv to test out ?
Yes I’m sure. I can hear the tv responding to the remote. I think it might be the ports on the projector. I’ll definitely be asking Amazon for a replacement
And I also connected it to a different tv. It’s either the cord they sent or the ports right? I’m thinking it might be the ports because the USB port works
This projector gets the job done pretty well. ru-vid.comUgkxS9P8zTOcmQg-hH0QeUi3dspOLyYgQ6dH Bear in mind it's a mini projector but all things considered the picture quality is pretty good. The attached photo is of the projector projecting onto my white closet doors. I still have not messed with the settings but I can't wait for our first family movie night on a larger scale. If you have issues with volume not working with your firestick, go into volume settings and you will find your solution there.
Still can’t stream anything but Netflix and Amazon with a Firestick. No Disney plus or Hulu or max Paramarout plus, none of them let you play them for copyright reasons
I have a.Mini projector.. Can see the menu and settIngs but the usb not selecting on projector its no signal HDMI to.. I now tryn my samsung a3 to projector but no result.
@@DuncanDimanche-sreview hi and give thanks Yeah i tryn to play video movies from Smartphone to projector, i have tried USB phone-projector no signal is displaying, i even tried TV-Projector via HDMI no signal😭😭
Im using chromecast on my projector, but i only get video becouse my projektor dont have a speaker, is there a way to seperate video and sound with chromecast?
Shaga Chandrakanth Goud alexa speakers ? the best is to get a bluetooth transmitter to create a bluetooth connection. like this one www.amazon.fr/Aigital-Adaptateur-Bluetooth-Transmetteur-R%C3%A9cepteur/dp/B085ZXD3QG/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=bluetooth+transmetteur+r%C3%A9cepteur&qid=1600528634&sprefix=bluetooth+tran&sr=8-3
1) that's not true. mine does and a lot of projectors do 2) and what is expensive for you ? 500$ ? 3000$ ? 3) you don't need a usb on the projector to power your smart tv. you can just use a power brick like a phone charger to power it. in fact it's better cause sometimes the usb port doesn't have enough power ;) and sometimes it's just a usb with no power
@@DuncanDimanche-sreview actually I did find out that you can use an HD converter. The coax from antenna hooks to it then outputs digital signals to the projector which may be connected by coax or RCA AV cable.
I don't know why you want to connect it with a mobile ? If you want to display what is on your mobile on your projector then you need to get an apple tv or an other smart tv dongle that does it... or if you just need netflix and prime video then get the fire stick from amazon
@@DuncanDimanche-sreview You're saying they can't display directly from their phone? If that's what you're saying, you're wrong, depending on the projector I suppose. As for why they would want to, perhaps they have videos or pictures to display. I can't say if the could display for example Netflix from their phone, as I haven't read on that but seems possible.
Travis Middleton It all depends on your projector. But bluetooth is NOT recommended for movies because their is always a lag in the audio that can be very bothering. The mouths of the actors won't be synchronized with the audio... As for wifi blueray I don't know...
@@DuncanDimanche-sreview I have WIFI POYANK Projector, how can i connect with Any smart TV, at moment i use the projector with android online Tv it's working. How to connect to the cable TV with the projector is my question.
Able to project powerpoint with laptop and LCD on the screen but not RU-vid. Is there a certain function I need to do for it to project? Thanks for your help! I'm a middle school teacher. Deb M
Deborah McLean hello there. I have a few questions first to be able to answer you 1) what are you using to connect your pc to the projector ? are you directly connected via an HDMI cable ? 2) if you are connected via hdmi then there should not be a problem to display what ever is showing on your laptop monitor to the projector. 3) If you are using a smart tv then which one are you using ? Let me know so I can help you out ;)
Tiara Rivera well that doesn't change a thing. the audio comes out of the projector or out of the mini jack to a speaker 🔊 if your projector has bluetooth then you can also use a bluetooth speaker
the audio will depend on your projector. some have a jack where you can connect any speaker with a jack some have built in speakers that are very decent some will send out the audio signal via the hdmi cable. or you have the bluetooth option but you need speakers that have very little latency otherwise the sound will not be synchronized with the video
@@DuncanDimanche-sreview she was asking, she need to have wifi network to connect the projector so that she can watch RU-vid stright to the projector, not usu g phone.
cat got your tongue!! I am in the making of a video that talks about my home setup ;) I really like the epson ones cause they have the horizontal keystone adjustments and I got the EH TW-5650 for 550€ ! which is a great one
the usb is just to power the smart tv dongle. so you plug in the smart dongle to the HDMI then tonpower the smart tv you can plug the micro usb to the dongle then the usb-a is plugged to a power outlet on a wall socket or directly in your projector if that one has a 5v usb plug
The problem with wireless speakers is the lag that can be very problematic while watching a movie. LOTS of speakers suffer for heavy lag so the lips won't be synched
