Welcome to my channel ! My name is Duncan Dimanche I am a French photographer and filmmaker living in Paris France !
I'm going to be reviewing tons of gears and post one vidéo per week on camera, equipment, computer and other gears ! So stay tuned and feel free to suggest gears to be reviewed !
@@jasaanbranch4524 yes if you are outside then just use a computer with an hdmi cable, and download the movie on your computer to not have to rely on wifi ;)
@@felixchacon7026 I did not remember but there shouldn't be any because this lens was meant for a much bigger sensor so so vignetting other than the natural vignetting that every lens has
Thanks for sharing, I was designing a basement apartment and I’m thinking of incorporating 4 units into the ceiling in a line spanning the the whole length of the apartment from the living room through the hallway to the bedroom, the span is about 35 feet. I was curious to know how much space between them you would recommend as I don’t want one skylight light overlapping the other and cancelling the effect on the wall. And I haven’t decided yet between the 1’x2’ or the 1x4’ maybe even a 1’x6’.
@@saint2709 good question I think that it's juste a matter of preference to have one long strip or to leave some space in between to really have this light hitting the wall effect they recommend having the light 40-50cm (about two feet) from the wall but they also have some lights that are shooting straight down as if the sun was at noon and some have fake sun that moves around as you move around haha but they are about 22cm deep (the light) i'll let you do the maths in inches on that one haha i hope that it helped... if you are interested i have been in touch with an other brand that seems to be ahead of the game (they claim to be the direct manufacturer)
@@DuncanDimanche-sreview Thank you for your insight. I have just noticed that PeseTech is now available on Amazon. And of course I would be interested in the latest technology as the model I am seeing on Amazon has been around for years. I don’t want to install something and then find out what I have installed has been replaced by something newer and better. Ps I do have room in my ceiling cavity, I got 9” not including the drywall soundproofing cake of 2.75’’.
@@end_theinflu you can use the crop mode of your camera and sony has a smart digital zoom. plus you can also crop in your 4k image in your editing software to zoom even more ;)
The requirement to remove the lens BEFORE removing the prism only applies to the TTL pentaprism meter, not the non-meter prism. The TTL pentaprism with meter has a pin that inserts into the chain whereas the non-metered prism does not. No risk of breaking the chain with the non-metered prism. BUT, it's good practice to remove the lens first regardless of the type of prism you have.
Peak designs straps are crazy uncomfortable. It’s super thin and with a full pack, it digs into your shoulders. The prvke has solid straps that are very comfortable.
well you have an easy access on the side and also access to the top compartment without having to put it down. but yes the Bevisgear has an easier way to access things quickly although i never use it with only one strap like they show in their demo video
The 6x4.5 is a half-frame to the 6x9 which is what I'd call 'Full Frame' in medium format (same aspect ratio as small format). The GS645 is not BW film with colored filter friendly at all. Slow and cumbersome to use colored filters. You have to screw the filters in to the lens hood (takes long fingernails and prone to finger prints on the filter). And the lens hood does not stow with the folding lens. The filters need to have a thin metal ring; otherwise, you'll be hard-pressed to get a few threads engaged with the sloping sides of the lens hood. And 40.5mm colored filters are not as common (less so when it needs to be a thin ring filter). It also helps to have long fingernails to operate the ISO control. But otherwise it is a nice camera.
well... the 645 is only 40-50% smaller than the 6x7 format... as for the 6x9 format it's definitely not a common format the 645 format is 2.6 times bigger than full frame 35mm hence the Medium format And photographers (wedding especially) love having that extra 5-6 more photos per roll while still having this medium format love I would agree with their new medium format digital camera that have a sensor only 70% bigger than a full frame 35mm sensor but even with just a 70% size boost the "quality"of the pixels can be seen. sharper image and a boost in pixel density can be achieved by the 70% boost in size I agree with the screw on filter situation with it. very annoying and not handy for the ISO i don't have that problem though i just love that i can take it with me easily
if the projector has an HDMI you can put whatever you want as a dongle. google chrome cast and fire stick from amazon has google play of some sort I believe
@@DuncanDimanche-sreview thank you so much sir I have few questions .. 1. I am thinking of buying google chromcast HD/4K which I want to CAST from my projector. I want to know does it support all mobile APPS that has PLAYSTORE? 2. How Android Tv play store is different from android mobile play store? 3.How to browse AndroidTV compatible apps in play store? Help me. Thank You
damn !!! that was a close call !! I am soooo surprised that even EPSON themselves don't know about this easy fix... and it's kind of wild cause someone commented on this video saying that they are not even sensors
@@DuncanDimanche-sreview Yeah I have no idea. I'm assuming Epson just gave up on the old product tech support. Or maybe this symptom mimics a failed main sensor. Thanks for making the video though!
When you look up, do you get the effect of a point source light the sun? I believe most of these skylights use a sheet of acrylic/PMMA embedded with titanium dioxide nanoparticles. I wonder if one can get their hands on just this material. It wasn't common ten years ago when these skylights started popping up, but maybe now?
when looking up at the direction of the light source you can clearly see the LEDs strip I believe that the new models have those sun like Lightsource that even moves when you're moving around and looking directly at it. I have been talking to another manufacturer in China and they have this sun like light source and i'm not too sure about the composition of the material.... to me it didn't seem that complex of a system but I could be wrong the best way to find out would be to take one appart haha
How's this holding up? Would love to see it finished off and in a room with other additional lighting. About to buy one for my bathroom but there's so little information/reviews about this out there.
I just received my HeadONEv2 and my SlinderONEv3 and was hoping that all these issues where corrected to the newer versions in the meantime but NOPE. Still shitty as shown which is very sad even if it comes with an discount. I'm curious about what the support will say but i'm more then disappointed.
sigh...😔 good luck with the support they will answer you but they won't have a solution Get your money back and buy the zeapon micro 3. I have the micro 2 version and i want to updgrade to the micro 3 cause it looks like it solved all my negative points of the v2 version. for the first time ever though on a job i had a problem with connecting my slider and my head but that was after updating both of them the day before the shoot. I just had to reboot the slider and head (made me loose 20 seconds each time which isn't crazy bad)
@@DuncanDimanche-sreview Believe it or not i already figured out where to buy the Zeapon Micro3 E500 HS here in Germany and i will order it today. I hope that edelkrone won't make it a hard one to return the slider. Thank you for your absolute hones review and thoughts on the Zeapon. I will try it and if it's bad or don't produce what i have in mind (well, obviously just clean, smooth slides without jitter) i will return it as well. But: thanks to you i will definitely try it out! Thank you Duncan! Oh, and also for your video of course, forgot to mention that - sorry. <3
this is an issue that has to do with the physics of audio recorders. i had the same issue with a zoom 5 and a simple dongle with a DAC or extender stopped it. it has to do with the electricity and how the cord transfers energy. your audio equipment will pick it up and you'll get a static.
Did you buy the tripod and head separately? If so, maybe that is the reason the case does not fit both? Wondering if my combo will have a case that holds both.
i believe that if you buy it with the head then they would ship it with the correct size bag.... but it is just so stupid NOT to have a bag that can take a head... who carries a tripod with no head ?!!
It's quite a murky situation. I own a V850 scanner and recently encountered a stubborn purple streak along with a fainter green one. In search of a solution, I stumbled upon this video and began tinkering with what they call "sensors" here. I hesitate to label them sensors; they seem to be mere plastic pieces affixed with Velcro, covering two holes leading into the scanner's interior. No matter how thoroughly I cleaned these pieces, the result remained unchanged. Eventually, I decided to remove these plastic squares altogether, leaving the holes exposed. I even cleaned the holes with a toothpick before a test scan, but alas, the stripes persisted. Then I spent a long time cleaning the scanner's glass with alcohol, especially the area from which the scanner starts its motion - both the top and bottom glass. It seems I managed to remove whatever was causing the issue because the pronounced violet stripe disappeared, though a faint green one remains, which I still can't seem to eliminate. My "engineering conclusion" is that those two holes, once covered by the plastic squares, might play a role in calibration, but evidently, they aren't the only factors. Scratches or dust on either side of the glass might also contribute to calibration.
it is a strange phenomenon indeed... and yes they aren't sensors but they seem to be causing some sort of problems when not fully clean. did you contact epson directly ?
I just faced the same problem , the pattern problem . and after watching this video I came to know that 5d mark iii makes this kind of pattern on underexposed area. now i just love my Nikon d750 and Z6
yeah up to the 5d miii Canon's sensors were not that great. the mark iv changed that with a great sensor though. and all the mirrorless now except the rp have great sensors
well... the point of the rakoo is to not have to use a physical device to your projector. but if the rakoo allows for tablets to be shared via it then you can (like you can with an apple tv and an apple device) if not then you need to connect your tablet directly into the projector
yes ! 100% this is a great monitor, but I would use it as a second monitor with another 27 inch ultra HD one. Because 10 P can be a bit low in resolution for a main monitor when doing anything else other than editing videos or photos
Good point. I'm into thinking its enough. I want to have a tunnel vision of focus on one screen at a time. I think 24" and 16:10 res works great!@@DuncanDimanche-sreview
lol this is true but if you do get fungus in your lens after purchasing it, then you have bigger problems in your house, then cleaning your fungus in your lens 😂
@DuncanDimanche-sreview I'm using my camera for microbiology laboratory practical- culturing bacteria and fungus, i think my lens got fungus from that lab, good sources of fungus spores, you name it, hahah!
hello there yes you are correct it is also why I made this video because I couldn't find any honest person talking about some problems with it. I have now gone with the brand zeapon micro 2 slider, which I really really like and they even have a new version of the micro 3 which looks even better and more stable so I recommend going with them if you need a very reliable slider
Dude, you're increasing the resolution without closing the aperture. Is it any wonder you get chromatic aberrations when you max out the lens? To close the aperture and fix the aberrations, get some black cardboard/thick paper, cut it out to fit over/into the lens & put a centered hole in it and boom you got something like f/30. Go crazy and try different hole sizes. Probably f40/45 would make this lens seem sweet - as long as you can lock down that tripod.
I bought the slider one a few years ago and I have not noticed any issues. I was shocked to realise that cannot loop the movements or record a specific movement without buying a head as well...
