This is going to be an unboxing and review of the ARMOR-X and the ARMOR-X PRO. If you want to purchase these products the link will be below. ARMOR-X PRO: www.amazon.com/dp/B0B91WQK8B/... ARMOR-X: www.amazon.com/dp/B0BCPY9J51?...
I've been trying to find out if I could have gyro activate only while holding a certain button and this was the first video I finally found that confirmed that. Awesome job covering all the features!
I literally diddnt know it could do that till this video, all this time I've been playing games with the camera always moving around outside aim.... This video saved me alot of pain of having to turn off gyro in menus as the cursor flew around the screen
Glad my video help. It is unfortunate that the only way you can use the headphone jack is to have the Armor X in wired mode. Hopefully they can push out an update that will enable the headphone jack in wireless mode,
awsome revieuw of the armor x and armor x pro. will you also review the Xim Nexus controller (another gyro controller that works on xbox). that one is great aswell for gyro on ps4 or xbox.
I glad you like the review. This my first time looking up the controller and I have to say it peaks my interest. I don't know if I will review it anytime soon becuase that is a pricey controller and I have 2 other controllers I'm currently reviewing.
@@NappySenshi fair enough. iI aksed because there is only one person on youtube who did a review on it and the more people that talk about controllers that can do gyro on xbox the better. Gyro will only become mainstream if more people demand it from microsoft aswell. Microsoft is the only one of the three console companies that does not have a gyro in their controllers. there are not enough people out there that know that there are products that can help them with gyro on xbox. the more people that talk about this the better.
@@caleasthetic Understand thank you for sharing the info. Hopefully this controller goes on sale during black Friday. I added it to my black Friday cart
So when gyro is active can you still use the right stick to aim? I'm wondering if you can use the sticks for most of your aiming but then gyro for just the longer range shots.
@@NappySenshi Nice, I've seen some gyro gameplay with the armor x pro and it's amazing how accurate people can be with it. I've never tried gyro before but I'm thinking about getting this. Thanks for the response!
Just got mine. Are the paddles not meant to work while charging? I understand that you can't use a wired headset, but surley I can charge my controller and use this thing at the same time.. Right?
I play pubg mobile with gyro, And atleast 95-98% of our clan member uses gyro for presice aim- Its not a gimmick 😶 Just need some time for muscle memory to capture.
You should try updating the firmware on the armore x pro pack. You can go onto their website and download the latest driver. Link here: www.bigbigwon.com/support/controller/armorx-pro-firmware/
Not sure if you ever got an answer but it still works. Something about it connecting to the Xbox controller directly and using its signal prevents it from being detected. And the gyro is so damn good. I recommend it
@@OldSkoolRadio69Thank you so much, I had never got an answer to it, and just a few days ago I was looking at back paddle options again and shaking my head because I don't want to have to solder or find someone to do it for me. I forgot that this one was even in consideration because I never heard if it got the ban hammer. Do you think armor x or pro is the way to go? How is battery life? This will be awesome when the elden ring expansion comes out so I don't have to play claw grip.
I was eyeballing one of these really hard, but another youtube review and some people in the Amazon reviews mention input lag being too much for shooter games like CoD. Was this your experience as well?
Now I have not noticed any input lag when using the armor-x on my pc, and it's kind of hard to narrow input lag because you have to factor in not only the armor-x, but also the tv/monitor you are using and the console or pc you are using.
@@jasoninman9824 i also heard the same but i still ordered it from aliexpress so fingers crossed! What did give me hope was that the updates files also included files for the adapter and dongle so maybe the lag will improve
@@TheChameleon2008 I ended up getting a Strike Pack Eliminator, which is a great piece of kit, but the buttons were too sensitive for me. Kept pushing them when I didn't mean to. Gave the Eliminator to a friend and got a Razer Wolverine Ultimate on Black Friday. I hope this works for you!
@@jasoninman9824 ah that suck... hate that company! Bought the strike pack dominator years back and they where going subscription model for the game packs lol
The Armor-X Pro does not add aim assist or recoil control. It just allows you to use gyro for the the analog sticks. Now you can use that to assist with your aiming in FPS or just aim with gyros all together.
So is this for cheats or for button remapping? All I want to do for my Xbox controller is to map buttons to paddles. I don’t want to spend 200 on a new controller
@@NappySenshi would be stupid if they banned you on pc. on consoles the debate is that you still get aim assist while you have the advantage of mouse like aim. On pc you already get mouse aim. On pc you have the option on most gyro controller to use mouse as gyro instead of right stick. So on mouse gyro you would not get aim assist. If you however use stick gyro you will still get aim assist in most games. So if you have the option then use mouse gyro, this in my eyes is the best option if you dont want to be considered cheating.
