I have bowed legs, is it possible for me to have a good turn out legs? Cause my friends (they are ballet dancer) told me that I couldn't dance properly in ballet, and my extension is not good when having bowed legs. Is there any special exercises? For people who had similar condition but still dance ballet.
OMG!! I didn't know?? But in the same time I am so happy to know about that. Cause all this time I was worrying, and been thinking too much on how I couldn't do well in any of the ballet technique. Thanks Chun Wai Chan for your reply!!! Your my idol!!! :D
i've been told that i should be relying on my deep rotators rather than my external rotators for turn-out so how would be able isolate so that i can rely more on my deep rotators than my external rotators and have the external rotators as support for my internal rotators?
Non weight bearing exercises were the easiest for me. Check out Pilates or callanetics style exercises. They often isolate muscles for strengthening really effectively.
