This used cooking oil, I have been collecting for nearly 2 years. Basically using to fried fish over and over again. It still smell fishy.
Grrrrrr! I do not know how to get rid of the fishy smell, even though with so much lemon skin still unable to get rid of the fishy smell.
Nevertheless, it is a good way to reduce-reuse-recycle the used cooking oil into dishwashing soap.
Just like normal soap making, just that this one I DID NOT super-fat.

You can make the oil clear by boiling and add some diluted starch

You have to soak them in charcoals for a week or 2. Charcoals are natural deodorizer. Fresh or dried lemon, orange or lime zest after the tracing could be added too for scent.

@@KeitNg welcome. Just note that, the amount you will use for charcoals are equal to the amount of oil you have or else they will not have any effect. The color would be slightly darker but that is normal. The soak timing will depend on where you have used your oil, you can check them from time to time after 2 weeks.
