@@user-zo5of7yr1f unless you plan to use the oil for a diesel engine as an example, there's no point in wasting time and energy to do this. You may reuse the oil a fair amount of times let's say up to ten and if there are bits in it you only have to filter it with a fine-mesh strainer and a coffee filter over night. He or she, it doesn't matter, it's just stupid what was said. If you are to worried about no having oil, you can buy a press machine for making oil at home and there are manual and electric from $140.00 to $4000. .. and the sun flower seeds, or any other seed that produces oil. Heck you can even make olive oil out of olives, go figure.

high quality cooking oils have wonderful disposition in giving/retaining food its original flavor, rather absorbing that flavor being cooked in it and gives crunch to frying on the other hand butter and ghee gives their lovely texture and flavor to foods and also health benefits when both are porcessed in pure forms like it used to be in our childhood, the processing of creating oils should retain most of its purity without too much chemical processing...

Place a thin white 100% cotton cloth like a square piece of t-shirt or thin dish cloth over mesh strainer but the oil must be hot otherwise it won't flow through the cloth. Double the results. Make sure it's 100% cotton. Canvas is best. To reuse the cloth filter clean in boiling water to purge the oil residue then squeeze and rinse in water and air dry.

Are there recipes how to cook with the used cornstarch?
@pccebu
@pccebu 2 года назад
44 DISLIKES? LMFAO Maybe you did it wrong? Tried this today I didn't think it would work but it does WORK!!!!! It makes sense.. the cornstarch absorbs the MICRO "CRAP" in the oil and corn starch is cheap here in the Philippines. Cornstarch is 1-2 USD 2.2 lbs so it's well worth it. I used it with canola oil and also coconut oil works with all oils. Yeah, did my homework before I commented. I used to use to make french fries using old oil and noticed it was clean afterward??? (french fries absorb impurities in any kind of oil, look it up) Ok well, this is the easy way. It does work. NOTE: Strain the crap out first using a paper towel and a strainer. Then do this process to clarify the oil. Thanks for taking the time to make this video. Liked and subscribed.

Clean oil.....For some small applications yes, but for engines or anything running hot "no" is my theory. It's all in the oil additives breaking down, sure filtering/cleaning the oil removes files and debri.....but it's all in the additive package for heat/soot dispersion/lubricity retention.

Your oil is that bad after using it only once?

And at the end of the video it said purified oils could be used two or three times more....giving them a total use of three or four times. i use my oil more than that before even purifying. Restaurants use their oil hundreds of times if you go by one batch as a use but either way still only change their oil once a week so that’s up to seven times if just going by heat ups. Still I am going to try this.

The products and energy consumption required to get this result outweighs the value of the oil.

Unless you can no longer find oil at reasonable prices or even buy it. I guess you didn’t have problems buying toilet paper and disinfectants or sanitizer a few years ago. LOL, being prepared is never wasteful.

These industrial oils are not for human consumption. I use pure animal fats.

Thank you, people are so used to be consumers they fail to realize that running out and buying something may be limited soon if they can even afford to buy what’s on the shelves, LOL.
