Can you make playlists on this??? Even if not that's amazing. My 17yr iPod died & it's hard finding a replacement that isn't super costly but still have a DSi so going to give it a try. Thank you very much for sharing this!!!!
Oh man. I still have my ds lite with a flash card. In the day some 15,16 years ago this baby had a bunch of songs on it. I also had some 70-80$ portable speakers. Lol they didn't even have a rechargeable battery let alone a Bluetooth connection. But Jesus the combination was so loud, or for those standards it was loud. Smartphones didn't exist, some people did had iPods but they were a lot quieter. So many years the ds was the boom box for all of our outside parties. It's a miracle for it to work even today cause it was bathing in beer and booze people spilled. 😆 Thank you for reminding me on that.
I remember when many years ago when i was into DS, getting R4s and similar devices that instant mod your DS, just slot in a sd card and you get gba roms/ds roms/mp3 player etc copy and paste no emulating
Lol... this was years ago... thats nice thinking, recycling old ideas... guess the next video would be turn your handheld c into Itunes or Windows Media Player.

Hmm, maybe I can turn my DS or a DS lite into an iPod using LMP. For me, personally, I own a DSi and 3DS, which have built-in music players (named Nintendo DSi Sound and Nintendo 3DS Sound respectively). The former supported AAC (.m4a) music files, while the latter supported .mp3 music files.

Hey James, nice vid btw, but I have one problem with my DSI SD card, I did everything u did on ur vid (games from SD card) but it seems that it won't start a game on multiplayer, I really need ur help
I tried this. I was able to get the nds file launches on my ds, and the mp3 files are there, but if I try to play any of them, the audio is completely messed up, and after a while the screen just goes black. Anyone know what is going wrong here?
I checked, and I'm actually able to play the songs directly within the sd card (without opening the .nds) so it's not an issue with the ds not being able to play the mp3 files...
