I suppose that since the question was "how many days before", they thought "the day of" meant well, one day before. Not arguing for them, they're still dumb!
For all the people commenting on the screw up when she ran out of time: a) they won anyways. b) if they didn't they probably would have brought them back or let her answer the final question. They did accept the answer that she was incorrectly buzzed out on.
The buzzer dude screwed up. It even confused Steve! They should've given an extra 2seconds which would've given time to answer the last one. Good thing they won😁
This feels so weird. I am 66 years old and had never heard of 'Mad Libs" until this moment. But as only three people gave that answer I suspect I was not the only one.
higgme1ster haha! They are books you fill in with specific words (noun, verb, adjective etc...) and then makes a funny story. Jimmy Fallon has done this with guests... The Office.. our grandma used to buy them for us and I had in elementary school too:)
TheRyumancer Me too, during the Steve Harvey years. One time, back in the Ray Combs era, I believe, someone was at 199 points and the next answer was worth 60, making it 259. That could be the highest win ever. Nowadays, 60 point answers are extremely rare, if even existent.
She got buzzed for her first answer twice..... they burned her time then they gave her her second answer in the end. They won but would have had more points.
+TheKaffeeKlatsch Well it doesn't matter because you don't get more money if you go past 200. It's $5 a point up to 199, once you get 200 or more it becomes $20000
+FireworkOkie That would be nice but notice how once they hit 200 they stop showing the answers and the points. It's because 200 is the goal and once it's reached it is over.
+Christina Doxstader I apologize, I knew that but couldn't resist the smart a$$ comment...my apologies. I've been watching since Richard Dawson was kissing the women. Again, my apologies.
I think the guy on the buzzer was thinking the day before could actually be the day of if the time he shopped was within 24 hours of the time he presented her with the present. To alleviate this ambiguity he decided to buzz the answer. After a nudge from a cohort he decided to accept it.
Jason Kimball I have a feeling they would have given her the last question had they not known that the next to last answer was going to do it - based on how many points she went over 200, it was quite obvious.
Whoa, I'd be pissed if they had lost because the screw-up with the repeated answer stole some seconds and she couldn't get a second answer for the last question.
She went for the most obvious -- dog. I was surprised that dog had less points than bone. I figured dog would be number one answer. Otherwise they could have said "besides a dog, name something you might find in a doghouse."
I remember one like that... I also remember one where the first dude got like 195 points and the second person got only 2 answers but were still well over
@@garrettstewart8776 I was looking for that clip the other day. I've watched all the big happy come backs in second round and was looking for some opposites to spice it up.
Murray Melander Yes, probably because someone more intelligent than the person on the buzzer realized that it was an intelligent answer and not repeating the answer given before.
From 3:01 to 3:04, I wonder if he was getting some sort of conformation that they got the 20,000, and didn't have to worry about that lady being buzzed twice.
Family Feud producers and lawyers sweating there - what if she didn't get the points? They would have to cough up surely as a voided contest due to technical errors?
How long before your birthday……. Six months Mad _______ : Taco Something in a doghouse……… torn clothes Dental procedure…… flossing Fight for armrest…… bar
You might realize they can engineer this game to be easy...or on another level, they can make it difficult in 2 ways...broad answers, like name a vegetable or too specific like name a spicy vegetable.in this way they can scew the results. Not that there is anything wrong with this, it is their show.Ihaveseen some so difficult ,they couldtriple the time and still not get 200 points. This sis the best part of the show
What he didn’t said in this video(Fast Money) Steve: OK Michelle, I’m going to ask you the same 5 questions. You cannot duplicate any answers. If you do, you going to hear the sound Sound teng teng playing Steve: I will said “Try Again” and you give me different answer. It’s little tough though, so we give you 25 seconds.
Well... We got a free trip and hotel, and each took home more than $5,000 because you get money for every point. Add in the great memories and I would take that any day.
+michelle turnberg Hi Michelle. I was glad to see the mishap on the first question, didn't hurt your chances for winning the money. I was happy your family won. I have a soft spot for blondes, you know. Take care.
+michelle turnberg +Jen Myers I need to apologize, I don't see where "The big ending" is. I know a lot of these game shows are scripted. It'll take a lot to prove to me that they're not. Hence a "Double D" episode on another page. I don't think people get a lot of money from these game shows because there are taxes you have to pay. So, if you're coming home with $30,000 you're actually getting $15,000 which means each of you only get $2,000.
@@wyliehudson8396 The question was fill in the blank Mad what? I would have said Mad Magazine. I would have said the the famous quote from Alfred E. Newman. "What Me Worry?" I know what I am saying. You don't know me at all. So there. You are not a mind reader.
It's annoying that you women feel the need to talk shtt back to every negative comment you receive on this video. Not open to criticism and/or can't accept that some people's opinion of you and your performance isn't good? Your looks take a major hit after your personality shines thru.
I’d be grateful if someone’d explain the significance of this video. I’d expected something funny, or wonderful, or strange, something *interesting*, but all I saw was a buzzer error that had no effect of the game. So what am I missing? I don watch the show, but it seems straightforward enough. Thanks.
I’d like someone to explain why you are butt hurt that we had a great day?? I’m sure if you won $4,000 in one afternoon You’d be happy!! So there... be grateful Binky.
wtf r u talking about? these were first grade questions even a fool could answer. FF must have a quota of Wins they have to meet for some reason.....or this was just click bait
She said DAY BEFORE they didn't take it and she lost 2-3 seconds enough to not get the last question answered had they come up with 199 points it would of been a huge loss.
WOW. WHAT A BUNCH OF HOT LADIES. I've seen this show many times as reruns too. Always admired this family for their beauty. This show has some pretty women from time to time but FIVE? I love watching this episode hehehe. THESE GIRLS ARE PRETTY. Some lucky husbands out there I'm sure.
She originally said day before they buzzed her so she gave another answer, when she didn't have to since day before and day of are not the same thing. So it's the judges fault
