Ellen, you are indeed very special and very brave to share this story. As your cousin, I know you come from a family of strong, persevering women, and you're right in that mold!! You're lucky your mom was the kind of person who always made things happen and never gave up on anything or anyone. I've always been impressed by how outgoing you are and how much you care for other people, and how you keep learning and making your life better every day. Love you!!!

Thank you for opening up and sharing your story! I also have mosaic TS, am an RN, married with two adopted youth. Have you ever pursued any plans for a family? I also follow a few other TS channels you may be interested in - BrookeTV (She is about to begin foster to adopt for her family and could use prayer. She also has just completed her degree in psychology/counseling and does videos on mental health). 2011Teenagemom is another channel with a 6 year old girl with TS. Have you even attended the TS conference? I hope to try t to attend one day. Please consider sharing more videos on TS to help spread awareness and support the TS community. Thank you again.

Faith, thank you for your comments. I definitely will check out the other channels you mentioned. When I was younger, I did think about adopting. I did not want to go through fertility options because I felt it would be very risky healthwise with my other issues especially thyroid disease . It was not to be, and I'm ok with that. At 53, I'm past the point of raising children, and my husband is ok with that. As for the TSS, I just joined. When I was young, the Society was very different. I like how it has grown. I have not been to Conference, but look forward to going next year in Nashville!

I have Dyscalculia, so anything involving numbers, I generally find a struggle.

Do all females with Turner's Syndrome have webbed necks ? Did you think you had dwarfism when you were a kid ?

Hi Tudor. Thank you for watching and your comments. Not all Turner's girls and women have a webbed neck. It's all in how the chromosomes have been damaged. I read up on your condition. How do you manage?

@@ellenulmer2164 Thanks Ellen. Not many people know about Dyscalculia. Everyone has heard of Dyslexia though. I struggle, with numbers, I have to use a calculator for working out basic maths. I just try the best I can, I let everyone know of my disability, so they know I'm not "stupid" I hate the "R" word. It should be banned. It's so demeaning.
