@@patrickblack6080 exactly. Percentage is key as well as the ratio of spend in to profit out. I'll buy a $25 board game for $3 but will flat out refuse for $4
Actually cant "destroy" anyone if the person doesn't feel "destroyed" see i dont give a fuck, you could call me names and do whatever to me, but it doesnt matter I will just laugh. This life is a f@cking joke.. not that long agp you, me and garyd wasnt even alive and literally nothing matter and soon enough it will be the same its only life that is the problem. Looking forward to going back to when this curse of life is gone so i cam be at peace again
Gary being super friendly walking away with the 40 dollar cars "thank you so much, thanks brother, appreciate it my man, wish you well, take care !" then a few seconds later "destroyed their faces, that's atleast a hundo" HAHAHAHHA
Jim, you're everywhere man! I don't know you personally, but I bet we're only 1 degree of separation away. You keep showing up in the most random places... Keep it up :)
Best way to list is -take pics of all your inventory -put it away -list while you watch a movie or listen to music when you have a chance even when you are taking a shit
This is why Gary will influence an entire generation to be more than they think they could be: he practices what he preaches. This is leading by example.
The woman was asking a measly $2 per car and he wanted to take all 30 of them for $3. This is called trying to take advantage of people because he's a greedy fucker. What a great example this man is.

@@kylethale not if you pack it right you have to wrap it in a buttload of bubble wrap it's either that or you're paying like $12 just for shipping vs $6
He's also smart about not going overboard with the insults at 13:13. Nothing turns off a seller more than listing off every little thing wrong with their inventory. I'm a landlord, and I get prospects trying to talk trash about my properties all the time. Sets off my Karen alarm lightning fast. It doesn't make me lower the price. It makes me blacklist the prospect.
Gary been watching for 2 + years. This series is the most entertaining shit you guys have ever put out. Weirdly satisfying just to see you win in this game.
Gary this honestly means so much to me.. my grandma passed two weeks ago and all we ever did was go to yard sales together it was her favorite thing! Thank you
Lady: " Yeah I know what's in there. They're hard to move; $40 is aight." Gary: "Destroyed their faces" I'm not sure who the delusional one is anymore.
I absolutely admire you. I do exactly this , and for two years straight payed my bills pulling in 4000 a month on nothing but the resale until we opened our Landscaping business. Now the resale is side hustle and our landscaping tree service is the cream of the crop. Selling and hustling is in my wife and I blood
TNR CLEANCARE Landscaping & Tree Service respect. Fully agree. I made a show inspired by trash talk. HUSS LIFE. Would love if you gave it a watch. Search Huss Life on RU-vid HUSS LIFE - EP 2- Make hundreds of $$ this week ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-xKgkpJ5k4q4.html
I love how Gary gets done with a conversation, he starts walking away and saying goodbye all at once like "No, love ya, but I've gotta get moving again"
only a few of them had actual bids on them though. i'd like to see a video all the way through or at least with a follow up of all or most items actually sold.
I use to think this guy would just talk his shit and was full of himself but this might’ve just turned the tables , he practices what he preaches salute
Lmao ain’t no hot wheel selling for $40 I respect the hustle but don’t exaggerate and say you can make a living off reselling Smurfs and hot wheels get fucking real
@@Juan_deep think you underestimate the value of things that are no longer made. Maybe should do a little research lmao. Don't be bent because he's doing something you aren't.

You gotta remember that when selling a mug you gotta rap it really really good because while being shipped well be getting thrown about 10 times before it even gets to the customer ( coming from a UPS worker)
Went out this morning garage "sailing" because of Trash Talk 1 and 2. Picked up a box of Hot Wheels for $10. Already found one of the cars for sale on eBay for $9.99. I haven't even gone through the rest of the box yet. Also got a plush Turbo from the Disney movie with tag (never used) for $0.50. Found it online for $16.99. Had lots of fun doing this. Can't wait until next weekend. Thank you very much Gary!
That is absolutely my plan. In total yesterday I spent $57 on everything I purchased. I am going to keep a spreadsheet of how much I make per item to compare against what I spent.
hey, sincere question here: in how long do you expect to get your money back? im not from the states but does people actually buy thos Hot Wheels on ebay? cheers bro appreciate the answer
I m a fan of G but hei that he has other people listing that takes So many Hours Its Not the really for aberate joes. It May Not sell at easy and How Much lil trinkets u need to sell to get that $$. Side hustle u can t list that many items. Period
*MAN Gary's drive always gets me pumped, and there's literally never been a better time to start selling on ebay then now, the past few weeks ebay has been literally printing me money! Especially since majority of people are stuck at home nowadays, never been a better time to double down on your focus while most people just lope around and watch netflix.. use this time to build your empire!!!* 💪🔥🤑🖐
You said I should stop doing Netflix and starting the Hustle - Yet you're producing such a good series to procrastinate. Not sure if I should thank you or unsubscribe 😂😂 #muchlove
We’ve never seen a more true, straight up, and business creative cat like this. I GET the “fee argument” and more. But FOLKS. He spent $100 and SOLD for $2k. I don’t care if fees and taxes were $1000 haha. Which they weren’t. So even at 12 hours that day scrounging and let’s say another 12 hours posting and shipping for THAT week, he’s STILL over $41 an hour. The negativity from you 20% HaTErS is laughable! This is GReAT shit!
Since i have been reselling stuff since about 2011 (mostly on the side) I can say a few things... 1.-You can make a living reselling used stuff but is gonna be hard, you depend in yourself so unless you’re a Gary V kind of guy working a insane amount of hours every day and putting a insane amount of effort get a full time job and make this on your free hours as a side job. 2.-You need to LEARN about stuff or you need to specialize in one item/thing or category. 3.-You will buy something sometimes and won’t be as hot or as easy to sell as you thought when buying it. 4.-You need to understand one thing you make money when you buy, unless is something expensive let’s say $100+, and sometimes you make money in people ignorance, simply put sometimes people does not know the real value of what is selling. I know it sounds bad but it is true. 5.-You will find items were you will make $7 profit every day, you won’t get big profit items every day ($100+). 6.-FEES... you will pay fees for eBay, PayPal, Gas, shipping, etc. Let’s say you sell one item for $25 on eBay you will pay somewhere around $5 total shipping included (depending on the item size) + the item cost to you. You will keep the rest. So if you buy something for $1 and you sell it for $25 you are making a profit of about $19 in a single item (depending in the item size, bigger and heavier you will pay more for shipping) If you got a eBay membership (you pay monthly) is a little different. My best score was one item for $50 sold for $750 one item for $10 sold for $150 and one item for $10 sold for $100 I found all this the same day plus some extra stuff. On those 3 items I made somewhere around $850 in profit in a single week plus some other stuff. You won’t find those deals every day, keep that in mind. Do Craigslist and use other selling services not only eBay. Ebay is good for small rare vintage items but you can get the same amount minus fees for some other big expensive items on some other places. If you really want to do this for a living and as your only job don’t corner yourself as a eBay seller only. Again you need to learn about stuff so you can see something and guess a selling price based in your acknowledgment this is very important. As soon as you pull your phone to check the price in front of the seller the price of things just went up. Or specialize in something with Gary V is vintage toys, he seems to know some about it. Once you find something and sell it you will keep that item in your mind so will learn a lot once you are selling. The more people learn about this kind of stuff is gonna be harder and profits will keep shrinking, but keep doing it there is always a small piece of gold for those who don’t give up. And one more thing don’t be a jackass to other buyers, once you start doing this you will start seeing familiar faces every weekend. Don’t be rude to sellers if the price is high don’t talk crap say thanks have a good day turn around and leave there is another sale somewhere a few blocks from him/her. Good hunting and watch it with those uturns... you will know what I’m talking about soon...
After my pops closed his Benz shop I sold all his old parts... Other people hired me to liquidate their businesses... Collections etc... SOOO FUNN!! LOVED THE RESEARCH... SENDING STUFF ACROSS THE WORLD... BLAST!
Dude Gary just changed that guys life LMAO! He literally was in a conversation with his parents thinking about life before turning into a bum then Gary comes out of no where and straighten his ass out LOL that's crazy
This is so oddly satisfying. I've done some flipping but the problem you run into is stuff may have flipvalue but it takes FOREVER to sell. Great content GaryVee!
The reason it's taking you forever to sell what you have is because there is no demand for it in the marketplace, or your asking $too much$ for it. Remember something is only worth what someone else is willing to pay for it. Or the value of what something is worth is when the buyer and seller can agree on a price that it's worth.
Sterling Lowery that’s what Gary isn’t explaining. Yea sure you can get $20 for something you paid a $1 for but unless it actually sells it’s pointless.
Came across some chrome Starbucks tumblers, paid absolutely nothing for them they were goin in the trash. It was about 4 of them so I put them on eBay and flipped for 70.00 dollars.
Gary can you please show more of the app work/ how to put it up and sell it as fast as possible (I know that depends on what it is), but can you show more of the process of the actual selling? Big fan keep it up!
Best thing to do whatever you are selling. Search it on eBay and go to filter and click on Completed and Sold and whatever sold the most and most recent just copy of their listing and lower the price a tad
EL TORO I’m sure Gary sold out in seconds cuz of him live streaming and people buying just cuz it’s from him. But to get an idea how quickly an item sells just search for it on eBay. Go to Filter and select Sold and it will give you the dates when stuff was sold
Don’t forget fees, taxes, gas, your time, shipping fees, supplies cost... it all adds up fast. It’s more of a hobby but he’s killing it on views and subs so that’s where his real cash flow is
Hay brahmini, i have a question on how many days it take to sell stuff After posting on eBay? Do we have to advertise it or the buyer come naturaly? Actually i sell vintage on Etsy but it takes me lifetime to sell one thing. I dont knw where i am doing wrong!
hi!! i mostly use Facebook marketplace, poshmark,& letgo. Just keep going and I looked up youtube videos before i started so i can get all the tricks in the bag right when i started.
@@riccardofrattali1607 Advertising is not neccesary on ebay , selling vintage item will always take a while becuase it requires a special buyer , Having alot of feedback Will help Since people might not want trust a low experience seller, allow 30 days free returns and No Caps on the title ,
One of the craziest things about this video is SEEING GARY V. DRIVE. I've never seen him in a vehicle without his phone glued to his hand at all times.
Obviously it takes time to sell the items. They don't just instantly sell. It is just a real life demonstration of the snowball effect. You have to do it consistently, you must also be patient and expect nothing in the beginning. Once you have so many items posted something is bound to sell, so as you add more and more and more items will start selling pretty much constantly. The entire success of this process is successful over a span of time not instantaneous. He is also constantly feeding his followers on multiple platforms simultaneously, while at the same time sending a positive motivational message at all times. Every aspect of his life generates wealth. His free time actually makes him money.
DJ Dunn yes that's what I've learned from watching eBay sellers. The only thing that makes me not want to sell items more than 200 dollars is because of scammers ..
@@alexwitti6903 eBay fees aren’t nearly as bad as it seems. Just last month I sold maybe 450 dollars in items and got 415ish net. That 35 bucks they took is a small price to pay for an entire country of networking possibilities for my items that would otherwise be narrowed to a market 100 miles from my home.
Trash Talk is so well made, great content and a great edit. $35 from $1 blew me away, but you’re living proof that it’s possible. You’re the guy, Gary.
@0:28 LOL like you hustling up your boys on a snow day ready for 9 hours of shoveling and you take them Christmas caroling..."hit it boys..." ! (just heard that yesterday haha)
I have been on eBay since 1998, cannot imagine how much cash I have Trash Talked over the years. I enjoy doing it, so fussing about gas, time and all that is just noise.
Quick question, Darlene. I am very new to this idea. Do you just place the item on ebay or do you have a way of seeing how much it is worth before it is purchased at the garage sale and put on ebay? Thank you
18:00 - I absolutely LOVE that you stopped and took the time to talk to that kid and give him that extra boost he seems like he needed. SOOOOO cool. I also love that people recognize who you are and love getting to meet you, and then there are the ones, like that lady in the white hoodie who I don't think knew anything about you... LOL! (Some of the things she said made me think she probably had no idea who she was talking to.) And yet, you are always respectful, you are always kind, and you are always about the people you meet - never about yourself. So classy and so professional; yet, so real and down to earth.
