Well done man! It looks fantastic! You’ve done a brilliant job! You should be proud of what you’ve achieved. I can really appreciate the time and attention to detail that’s been put into everything.
The room and rigs look great. Like all your work, every looks perfect. A great inspiration for sim racers. Looking forward to your content from your new den.
Goals!! I built a similar PC recently (4080 Super, but since my triples are going 2k and VR makes me motion sick it’s good enough), Sim Lab P1-X Pro, and Fanatec DD+, Inverted V3 pedals and Porsche GT3 R wheel. It’s in an unfinished basement, but love seeing a room of ‘possibilities’ Next up for me is a DDU from Chris Ullman, finding the right button box and Streamdeck +, then the right sequential shifter and handbrake for getting some good rally racing games into play. I don’t video and don’t have sponsorships so it’ll go slow, but can see picking up a second rig with a single screen for the GT7 fun I still love and put the Fanatec with it while trying Simucube or Simagic next. But that’s a few years away.
Can you do 2 more videos, 1 for the renovation process of your new studio and 2nd. Cost breakdown of your 3 screen main SIM racer. Thanks! This channel is very educational!
Thanks for checking out the video! Really glad you found it helpful. About the renovation video, it's a bit of a bummer because I didn't film much of the process, which I kind of regret now. But honestly, it was just some new flooring and paint - nothing too wild. I did chat a bit about the pegboard in this one, though. As for breaking down the costs of the main rig, I'll get to that at some point. For now, if you're curious about what I'm using, you can see a complete list on my website with links to most of the products at www.thesimracingden.com/my-sim-rig
WOW! This was amazing. I just watched your previous tour from 2022 and was curious what you were up to since then. As an almost 50 year old looking to get into this amazing hobby your setups are an amazing inspiration for me. I'll just have to keep telling myself to start small! Haha... Two questions though: 1. Why did you get rid of the roof you made on top of the monitors? Doesn't it add to the immersion? Did it get too hot? 2. Why no screen bezel kit? Is that something not worth the money? Keep it up! You have a new subscriber! :)
Thanks a lot! It’s such a fantastic hobby. It’s all about having fun with the process, which I enjoy just as much as the racing itself. About your questions, I ditched the roof mainly because it was getting in the way of shooting reviews and hopping in and out of the rig. I kind of miss it for that extra immersion, though. I’m thinking of putting something like it together again someday. The bezel-free kits, Haven’t popped them back on yet. It's been a bit of a struggle to get them to fit just right with my new screens and the angle I’m going for. I’ll probably sort it out eventually, but honestly, the bezels aren’t a big deal. Once I’m dialled into a race, I barely even notice them.
Epic den for a dual setup!! I was curious if you 3D printed the faceplate on your Moza Steering wheel? I love it and haven't been able to find an stl online for it!
If this is not sim racing porn I dont know what is!! Lmao truly love the channel. Keep up the great work and I am literally drooling over how incredible that room came out. Simply amazing
After I switched monitors to the Odyssey G7 the bezel free kit didn't really work well with with my desired angle so I just left them off and honestly haven't really missed it.
I just simply switch display profiles back and forth. Everything on the test rig and main are always connected via usb hubs just get in switch my controller profile in sim and go. Pretty simple for the most part but do have to switch display settings in the sim each time is the only downside but it only takes a few mins.
@@simracingden No, got to 1:35 in the video, above the work bench. it looks jkust like a clock except some numbers are miussing and the num, bers on it are in the wrong places LOL
@@jonnovak That's a clock, but it's meant to look like a Porsche tach. It's useless as a clock, but I thought it was cool. I got it off Etsy. They don't sell it anymore, though I just realized when I went to find the link for you.
@@FormulaCounterfeit I would say so it’s a bit of a sweet spot but something bigger is always going to be a bit more immersive. My next goal is three 48” screens. 😁
