I love that gleaming aluminum. In combination with the gem colored resin the piece has the quality of fine jewelry. Add in the cube and captured shapes within and it becomes a masterpiece. I'm so happy that you repaired and finished it. Love the scene of you sanding while your dog sits on the pier. Excellent piece and video!

I had no clue what to expect when you started. I'm glad your neighbor (thanks Roger!!) was able to help you out of your bad spot. This is so incredibly complex and beautiful. I've never seen a setup like the lathe when you worked on the resin blocks. Is that homemade or something you found? I'm not a turner, but I enjoy watching the process. It calms me for some reason.
