TalkTV host Rosanna Lockwood says turning the boats back when they're halfway across the English Channel is not a fix to the migrant crisis in the UK.
“That would be like painting over a cracked wall rather than dealing with the crumbling foundations that led to it,” Ms Lockwood said.
"The crumbling foundation is the almost criminal inadequacy of this government's failure to ensure an asylum processing system that provides safe, tested, and legal routes for arrivals."
