@@thathookset1424 Yeah i hear yeah. Honestly it's just hard to listen too cause both my ear drums got blown from an ied in Iraq. So there super sensitive. Still the video was awesome. Whenever I'm catfishing I have a rod out for carp like your buddy did. There fun to catch.
I’ll explain it in a video one of these days BUT I reel down until I feel the fish.....then I set it for security......can’t tell you how many times just letting the fish pull the rod down and feel the resistance has lost me some catches.....I also use baitrunners and don’t keep my reels locked up, so the fish always feel like they have the bait and wont be tempted to drop it as much. Thanks! Thought my boy cleaned up his corn mess, but otherwise when I leave a spot my tackle bag is usually full of trash by the time I leave. That same day I took home some braid someone left tangled in a tree there....were you the guy we crossed paths with a couple days back who had the santee rigs?

@@thathookset1424 all the cars, except for mine had left. I assume they might enforce, but I did not have a ticket. I am down to try it one evening and see what happens lol or look into how to get the permit.
Thanks! I agree, that stretch is amazingly beautiful...lots of bald eagles there right now. He was baiting them with corn. They’re stacked in that slower part right now, some HUGE ones further up to the right

ThatHookSet ThatHookSet i started off catfishing as my main fish as a kid and i fish for everything creeks rivers lakes ponds for everything but my friends have acquired boats and they like to bass fish i have great lakes and rivers with big cats all around me bank accessible! Im getting into big cats now nothing like sitting back hearing the river run not doing anything but waiting!!
@@thathookset1424 That's the best live bait for flats by far. Clip the fins and putem on a hook. They stay alive forever. Down here in TX we find them in hot stagnated ponds or backwaters.
