I love how Sophia separates things by who they are for, now. She doesn't say the milk is too heavy anymore. She's getting to be a big girl ❣️

I can't stop thinking of her as a restaurant chef in say 25 years and getting excited to help unload the food delivery trucks. 😊

Do you have a garden, balcony or sunny place in the house you could put a bucket or planter? Because green beans are really easy to grow & children really get a kick out of growing them. They always taste better home grown too, same with tomatoes 😁

Loose leaf lettuce is very easy too, I just saw your box of it, you just sow the seeds in a pot, it doesn’t have to be very deep, reusing that box it came in half or a third deep in compost would be enough, sprinkle, lightly water it & voila, in a short while lettuce you just nip off as you need it 😁

It is an absolute joy to watch Sophia unpack groceries! She enjoys it so much! I wish I had her enthusiasm for putting away our groceries!😊 Bridget, where do you get the kiwi berries? I've been scouring my local stores, farmstands, whole foods & sprouts with no luck. Do you shop at a specialty grocery? I know there's a ton of them in NYC & the other 4 boroughs. For instance, my uncle lived in the Bronx in the Riverdale section. He could get kiwis long before they became trendy in the 1980's. But where my father grew up in the east NY section of Brooklyn, you'd be lucky to be able to get apples any other month than October in the 1980's. (I know that area has changed a great deal now.) Anyway, I'm curious where you get the kiwi berries. My husband & I would love to try them.
