An interesting skill to be given to the Fafnir as we usually associate the Fafnir with flying. I think I would only run this setup if I had no other options (for example no Typhon or Leech) and I was looking to run some sort of range setup. In this case it's a pretty good option. I think if someone needs to use all 4 medium weapons at once then they should go for Typhon instead because all 3 Legendary Pilots for Fafnir have their special skill tied-up with Fafnir's flight ability.
I have a maxed Freedom Fafnir with maxed Svyatogor Belov pilot. I wanted to try this out but I went through each pilot skill one at a time trying to exchange one of them for the traditionalist skull but it would not offer me that skill no matter what I tried! So I'm presuming I'll have to start with a new pilot if I want the traditionalist skill. With the arrival of Dagon in the game I have a feeling we may begin to see some Fafnirs making their way back into the game (without traditionalist skill) as it is the ideal counter to Dagon with the shieldbreaker ability. Bypassing the shield is crucial to killing Dagon as its tankiness comes largely from its aegis shield. I think Fafnir with shieldbreaker is the perfect counter.
Maybe list your skills here because I actually didn't see the skill at first. I think I had Engine Expert or something but once I changed that I was able to see Traditionalist.

Out of the games I played I actually found the Havoc build on the weaker side - one of the reasons is that Fafnir is too slow. If we compare it with Leech for example Leech gains speed when it uses it's ability and with Typhon it's a faster bot. I think even if you had the Traditionalist skill you need to play range for this bot if you really want it to shine. Some I know would suggest using Ghost skill but with Ghost skill if you use that then you can't use Traditionalist - it's either one or the other not both.

Hi Adrian love the video. This is wierd giving the fafnir traditionalist skill but i think it could work on another note i'd say the fafnir is bouncing back since the dagon came out dont you think?
I think for me traditionallist will make it worth building fafnir since i mostly perfer staying on the ground im not that good with flying robots. So i think the t-fafnir is for me
This seems like it could be a super fun bot to play in the lower leagues. Very simple but can definitely be deadly. I don’t see this being a great pick in higher leagues though.
Adrian please no one can explain this to me, it'll take like 1-3 min. What does skill for lynx called destroyer +12.5% ability dmg do? Is it increasing lynx's hits by 12.5%, which is just +- 2250 extra fmg per ability hit or does it have some effect on execution also? I mean does it increase execution also? Because I don't find that worth it if it increases -+15k hits by 12.5%. +2250 dmg is not better than other skills. You shoot 3-4x with lynx so altogether just an extra +- 10k dmg. That's not a lot, but I see every top player using it. So I ask you, that are pro also, why?. Or what am I missing here in this case? There are 3 skills, for 62% durability, speed 68% and 18.5% dmg. But you can't use them at the same time. I wasted memorium thinking I could 😢 but what can I say we learne from mistakes 🙂😂😂 but now I am at least fast, really fast + 160% speed with kestrel, +120% with armadillo. It's a little attack tanky bot.
I'm excited for change. Not sure about the OG hype because for me it's all new anyways. You have to remember I started playing in the middle of Chapter 3 Season 3 so everything will be new.
dont level it, its not really the best choice to do so, as its a waste of resources when you can level a better bot, like fenrir or smth, if you have it at mk3 sure but if its mk1 then defo not.
Indra with his electrical lasso ability because it does damage by percentage. As for weapons, you can use sonic, cinder, those that heal, energy shotguns, blinding ones or electric ones. Personally, I use cinder, sonic, healing or electric weapons. You also need 2 maxed titan repair amps. By the way I think you can't kill Bastion with anything other than Indra's electrical lasso ability because bastion has 100M health + resistance.
Very hard to do that in the current meta because there's a lot of counters. I know players keep telling me it's possible and it's good but it really isn't as good as they're making it out to be. For example… a few days ago I was recording for one of my videos and ran into a Champion League player from a top clan who was running 3 maxed out Fafnirs. He was probably doing it for fun but I killed all 3 of his Fafnirs within a 2 minute span - with the Crisis Decay which is a hard counter. He had an Ophion too which suffered the same fate. I have yet to see a player who can play that bot consistently and not against inexperienced players. I'm talking about playing that against experienced players that know how to take it down (which isn't hard btw).
I don't think it's worth it going for t fafnir just get a typhon if you want 4 medium weapons on a robot or fenrir maybe if you want a tanky robot. I find it funny how manni found out aboth the t fafnir and now everyone is making a video aboth it
Yup glad you also picked up on this. I know a lot of players complain about the game we have today vs say back in 2014. Well... in 2014 that's pretty much all we really had. We had bots that walked but wayyy slower. We had also jump on Cossack and Rogatka but that was about it until the Griffin arrived which also had jump.
Theres literally no point in running this😂it can be a good alternative to the Fenrir but Fenrir is simply better with more speed, more health, and sort of the same firepower. I woule argue that Fafnir is better without the traditionalist skill
Fenir does not have more speed than the Fafnir if you take the modes into account. For Fenir to push beacons, you’ll have to get out of your defensive mode, which makes it vulnerable. In its defensive mode, it loses a lot of its speed. T-Fafnir gets 100 DP and speed with no cost. 4x Medium also means slightly higher firepower but also faster mothership charge. But I would agree this isn’t a good build to run for the average player cuz it requires a lot of investment.
@@AZ-zz4kn But the Fafnir in the traditionalist skill is much slower than the Fenrir in its non defensive state which is why i said the Fenrir is faster. And even without its defensive mode Fenrir still has tons of health especially if your running the Bernadette pilot
