I think a simple functional thing to put above the bench would be a little wooden accordion hook rack with some resistance bands and maybe a jump rope hanging on it 🤌 super cute space

I love the gym area!! The little bare area above the weight section on the wall should have a little neon sign in cursive writing that glows like a pale yellow that says “Kristin made It” because not only did you make the space but you also made it far since your accident! And it can make u smile and encourage u to keep going. Always a reminder of how strong u are!☺️

Looks great! Maybe a whiteboard calendar on that wall instead of a mirror, you can write what you did for your workout on it like a tracker

This is so inspiring! I competitively rowed for 3 years so I’m so happy to see the beautiful erg! (there’s a very specific way to use it though so pls research to avoid injury!) I love the inspo wall aesthetic! 🤍

I love it!! wish I had a little home gym like this 🥰 But I would suggest adding a little wooden shelf on top of the weights area. maybe with some plants, and a diffuser?

It looks beautiful. Now you have inspired me to jazz up my home gym too. Just thought of this idea when you said that the floor shows the dust when you walk on it. Take off your slip in shoes outside, and put on your gym shoes inside the gym❤️

It looks so good!! I think adding another mirror would be good, it would open the space up even more! Also maybe add a plant & candle on top of the fridge? Love the curtain!! Totally finishes off the room. You could also add some cute inspirational quotes to the collages? Looks amazing!!!

In the space above the weights - something with curve - like a big arched frame of florals. There are lots of straight lines in the gym, something curved would be a nice contrast ☺️

Late to watch the video but where you were thinking about putting the mirror behind the bench, you should put one of those accordion wall hangers to put hang your sweater/ workout towel/ workout bands. Also, how about rolling up the yoga mats and putting them in the baskets under the table? 😃

Ok when those mats eventually tear up replace them with horse stall mats from Tractor Supply Co. We did a lot of research when doing our home gym and they were highly recommended. They were very cost efficient and heavy duty real rubber. The only downside was cutting them to fit the space since they are so thick.

If you’ve never considered hiring a trainer we had one at my office and it was the best workouts ever, I’d highly recommend. They would come to your gym and give you stuff to do that you hadn’t considered before.
