Hypothetical thoughts about the possible protagonist of this nonexistent game; I actually have two ideas about an in-game explanation as to why all the romance-able characters are so invested in the MC. 1. They’re tethered to a moon/animal deity based prophecy. 2. They’re a type of hybrid being with an interesting ability that can be used by the other characters and/or an immunity to transformation bites. Plus an additional something I’m just gonna throw out there, something I’ve always wanted in these games where you can romance the characters is the opportunity to also do matchmaking for the characters. So maybe the player also has the option to be like “hey, ya know this person? Do you guys hang out ever? I think you should, you might have a good time!” I mean, I already know who I would pair up if given the chance.

LOOK, you say that the fire-horse-girl is silly, but you came SO CLOSE to just create the VERY REAL Brazilian myth of the Mula Sem Cabeça (the "Headless Mule"), which literally is a woman who's slept with a priest, and is cursed to turn into a headless mule on Friday nights (god forbid women to have any hobbies right?); the Headless Mule runs through the streets at night, terrorizing the village with her sinister neighs and iron hooves, while throwing fire through the hole in their neck. therianthropy is the umbrella term for 'were-animals', with lycanthropy being for wolves. thus, following the formation with the proper translation, you can find the proper 'anthrope' term for each animal, so it doesnt sound as cheesy!

I think I would have way too much fun playing as Sergio and/or Cassandra, and trying to romance all of the edgier/more serious characters! Something about cheerful bread man trying to sweep Ser Hemlock off his armored feet just tickles my brain lol

I knew that volcano was familiar. It's Mount Mayon from the Philippines. Fun fact, we have a mythological monster/cryptid called tikbalang here that are like werehorses, with a horse head and legs (though artists have designed zebra variants). So horse lass here would be considered a tikbalang lol.

Prompt concept: some kind of a tactical game, so you would be designing both commanders and their right-hand men/women, thinking about how the personality of each subordinate balances out the leader. Not sure about the setting you'd want to go with - it would just come down to what aesthetic you want to have linking the characters!

When i saw the owl girls mood board, I absolutely thought you were going to give her porcelain prosthetics in the human form (and because she’s a witch maybe she would be able to control them through magic), and use it as an excuse to not give the her arms in the owl were form, but you totally subverted my expectations into a horrifying wyvern nightmare creature lol. All the designs turned out amazing by the way, steller work as always.

If you are up for it, doing a "horror" video game with ghost characters that all correspond with images from viewers sent through instragam would be cool. I saw horro in parenthesis because it could be funny to have bumbling ghosts try to scare people while having no idea how to scare them

I would love to see some fantastical prosthetics and mobility aids! Some lovely disabled people with interesting limbs and aids. I think it would be really cool to see you do that since you're so good at fantasy designs! I was kind of sad to see the porcelain arm not be a prosthetic, ngl.

I adore the color scheme for the vampire. It is still dark, moody, and sophisticated but that dark brown breaks from the black stereotype and also kind of looks even more lux.

Honestly my favorite has to be the adorable rat boy Sergio. The moment you said he has a love of cheese and cooking I knew that he was for me! I absolutely love cheese as well as characters who are sweet cinnamon rolls.

In a world where unique ideas are hard to come by, this. This is a good one. I can invision every aspect of this game. I myself am not a fan of most dating Sims due to the lack of world building and reasoning on why all these people want a peice of what you got going on. But this concept opens a door to much a cool world. With castlevania type groups of nightwalkering monsters that are looking to take over the world, and the player character is a or a child of a the most powerful monster family in the relm. And a courtship with you will ensure them the victory in the "monster war" they seek. The reasoning can be all different and the fighting aspect would make sense. Killing anyone who gets in their way for TOTAL DOMINATION! (Sorry for the brain spill, but I want this to be a game so bad! I wish I had any game making skills!)

honestrly I feel like the wererat and werehorse should be bonus character that you can date only once you have finished the game for the first time. Like the first time you play, you can meet them/talk to them but they're not romanceable. But once you have gone through the credit you can romance them! :) Anyway I know this game doesn't exist but if it did I would play as many as it takes to romance all of them and get all the endings!! this is just sooo good!

Wow! I'm impressed with how many characters you did! I'm kind of imagining that they all kind of live in the same small village with a big castle in the woods. IDK why, but I imagine the knight and the princess live in the castle together. Like- they're besties, they wax poetic and angst with each other in her princess bedroom, whoever you choose to romance won't ruin their friendship. Bat woman is set up in an abandoned cathedral in the woods. Our catboy and the owl woman can both be found in a tower that's a big library and gives wizard vibes up in the mountains. The rat man has a bakery along the road! The horse girl lives near the jousting field and is known throughout town! They're all great! I can already imagine the MCs cute little cottage in the center of the map~

Very hard to choose a favorite, but I really love both the were-owl and the were-bat. Especially cause I love a composed, polite and put-together person who is secretly unhinged. Also, if she's part moth (or just likes them) I could definitely see that as part of why she's so in love with explosions - the light. Little bit of a mad scientist. Oh and you said that the porcelain stuff is armor, but consider: she lost her arms in a lab accident, which didn't deter her from her experiments at all, and then made herself robot arms

I like the tournament dating sim idea. They’ll be an aspect of Rng where the person you’re romancing could die in the game. And maybe your progress can help your lover. Like how Pokémon act when they don’t want to see you sad.

Ok so i know im late, but heres my idea of setting Setting: a castle/fantasy medieval village You, a human, are a new member of the serving staff, so it would explain why you'd be around/interacting with these characters. You get hired on and romantic hijinks ensue. Since princess and knight are both werewolves, I'm going to say they're siblings. It also explains the tiara on the male knight. Maybe he's the illegitimate son of the king, aiding in his edgy angst. Characters: princess, the prince/knight, the chef, the mage, the scholar/royal archivist, the calvary knight (who I'm gonna say her dad is the stable master), and the witchy spymaster Fighting: I think it's the two you have the highest score with going against each other. Maybe you get a few mini battles here and there(no death in mini but loser gets knocked down a heart in relationship scale) between characters that are vying for your attention in the same area. When the big fights happen, you can encourage your prefered lover and your encouragement gives them a boost. Fights probably happen every time you level up two or more characters past 3 hearts(basic friendship) so from then on you'll get mini battles and 5 hearts+ gets boss fights. Make it to 9 and maybe the twist is *you* have to fight them because they've given into their beast forms too often in pursuit of your affection that they're losing themselves. Obviously you tried to warn them against it, seeing how it was affecting them, but now you have no choice but to take the bull by the horns and either by kill them and saving everyone form the monster they've become or using what you've learned about them to invoke the fond memories you share and bring back the person you've grown to love so dearly to humanity, earning that 10th heart and sealing them as your forever after partner and soulmate. Personally, all of your dudes are hot af, I'm gonna swoon. They're all tropes I love so much, I can't choose! The ladies are beautiful, but these boys got my heart. Now they gotta fight for it.
