Nice bowls. The semi porcelain looks good enough to eat. Any glaze will be different on this clay. Smart thing is to make testers, but I never do. Glad your neighbors are tolerant of the noise your gang made there over the weekend.
Thanks Geff, I rarely make testers either, I've seen some who test on hundreds of tiles, it will be interesting to see how my glazes react on such a smooth white clay, fingers crossed . Thankfully next doors on holiday. When I start eating the clay I will throw the towel in lol.
Leigh my friend. There is a guy that lives about 2 1/2 hours from me and he makes a porcelain from scratch. His name is ceramic Jim. He shows everyone how to make raw item and how much powder to use of each part or chemical needed. Just in case your making it from scratch. I bought about 2oo pounds of material to make it. He is on RU-vid. Looking good & nice stuff .
