New parts ordered… 600 hp or engine explosion coming soon! Check out the street test drive here ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-iCPj9aVLTYo.htmlsi=UoIrY_b2ezKjxCL0
You R the "Horsepower Whisperers"... (I love the way everybody 'stands back' when the fun-pedal is pushed into the down position:) Thanks for the ride along. Cheers from So.Ca.USA 3rd House On the Left.
My first car was a Starlet. It had a 1 litre engine with 45hp and 4-speed transmission. It was a beast 🙈 Still had a laugh driving it though because you just can't take cars like that seriously 😂
They didn’t list it in the description but does anyone know what the name of that song is at 1:42? It sounds like a jammin vibe and I want to check it out.
I've said it before and i'll say it again - Ya better weld that motor to the chassis cause it's already about to fly out the bay with 500hp 🤣 600hp probably gonna take the car with it to the moon hahaha
Guys over here in the UK blowing up forged 4EFTEs @300hp crank . You guys making 500whp is just bonkers. Favourite channel on YT currently! Keen to see 600!
That big turbo is keeping it out of boost until the maximum torque starts to drop off, then it kicks in and pulls like a train . Boost and hp do not bend rods torque does . You can control torque in the midrange with a small turbo by retarding ignition timing where it makes it's most torque and readvancing it as the torque drops off up towards redline.
@@davidgriggs3967nah the problem is using small turbos. Retarding timing in the mid range is just trying to cope with the underlying issue…adding timing back in the top end is not a good idea either…it’s the main reason why so many of these engines are blowing head gaskets and damaging bearings
@campdog2023 Arp head studs are a must on those builds , boost and detonation lifts heads . If you keep driving your car with a lifted head and low oil pressure, then of course you're going to toast bearings.
Why not bolt on 3 oil coolers, increase the oil capacity to 15L and increase the pressure and volume by 80% ? It will only add 40kg to the car demand a fee HP for drive the custom pump 😂
Rick in Melbourne, runs a 5e with the same auto and converter… He lost 105 hp from switching from manual to auto (585 down to 480) I’d say our crank hp would be well over 650
Maybe I missed somewhere, but what kind of trans in it? Is it of some bigger toyota model? Or is something done to it? How does it hold it and how is it controlled?
All the info on this car is in the camp dogs playlist if you’re interested… It’s a 244e trans from a paseo. We got a custom converter built and the trans has been fully rebuilt with a different valve body. Still has two solenoids that are electronically controlled. Still needs the shifter cable though, can’t go full electric unfortunately
Hello matt i got a 97 tercel 2dr 3spd AT ugh i wanna go turbo with somethings like td04L but i can't find anythings online to correctly mod this things how did u do ur 5e-fte conversion????
man I would love to do this to my beat up 2012 fiat 500 NON abarth lolol. that little 1.4l would melt away into sadness. the transmission certainly would as its only rated for like 20 hp over stock (101hp)
Play with a more aggressive timing curve and run cooler plugs. That will give gobs of power. Also, route the air intake outside the engine bay, for a bit denser air. Cheers mates, good show on 500+hp.
So proud of my kin, we’re always pushing the envelope and gifting the human race new technology! Imagine what the planet Earth would look like without us?
rally cars in a nutshell "ok lets throw some offroad tires on it and some beefy ass shocks then tell it to make as much HP as possible without upgrading anything and hope it makes it through the stage"
See about using a planetary gearset as a cvt. If you have the motor powering the ring gear, and the center gear going to the tires, you just have to restrict the orbital gears to transfer power to the wheels. And end gear can be 6 to 1 or more, though you may never hit that ratio.
I lost the lower plastic on my grand am's bumper to a raccoon a few months back and I was worried the radiator/condenser was damaged or something because the 3.4 kept getting randomly hot. Like fine at cruising 60, or 90mph, but would hate city driving or 70-80mph. Got some corrugated plastic sheet from home depot, slapped it on, and my temps are back to normal. proper air flow matters, especially with cars that tend to run hot.
Huge effort blokes !! Massive journey it’s been from the very start to current date 🙌🏻 she’s an absolute weapon for the humble little 4e .. Loved the shoutout to the sponsors makes a huge difference to the content that comes out🤘🏻 Imagine if anyone could donate /sponsor along with merchandise and parts from the store .. be mind blowing to see starjet and evil twin not just at the local events.. Still potential in both Behind the videos you boys put in some solid effort with events and full time work . Absolute massive achievement 💪
