Almost mad at how they can transcend themselves with every new piece of music they put out because the chances of seeing them in small spaces again are getting slimmer and slimmer. So happy to exist at the same time as this band.

Cerca de cuando este disco salió tuve mi primer episodio psicótico. Por como estaba mi vida en el momento y como actuaba sufría muchísimo de ansiedad a tal punto que no podía ni bañarme porque estaba paralizado. Un día en mi casa justo antes de salir a juntarme con mi novia pasó algo que me arruinó los planes y eso desató que yo empezara a convulsionar, me caí al suelo y convulsioné por como 30 segundos. Desde ese entonces mi familia me ayuda mucho con el tema de mi salud mental y Tursntile también lo hace. Franz is one of my fav bass players and Turnstile has seriously helped me learn more and more about the hardcore genre but they themselves have made hardcore their own style and I seriously can’t wait for this new album.

Literally changing Hardcore before our very eyes! I don't get "wow'd" very often by new bands but goddamn dude! I look forward to hearing more from them!

Hate how there’s always that one dude who insists they aren’t “real hardcore”… Turnstile might dabble in other styles and genres but they always stay true to the spirit of hardcore. Great bands don’t settle for what a genre has been, they dare to explore what it CAN be, and that’s exactly what they’re doing on this album

Gotta say as an aged hipster hardcore kid from NYC who grew up obsessed with just about every one of the bands these kids lift from- and that’s a fairly long list- I love Turnstile. I get so many flashes of brilliance when I listen to this new record, homages to the greats that destroyed music in my world from Bad Brains, Fugazi, Shelter, Cro Mags, early Jane’s Addiction just to name a few. They have managed to pull some of the best grooves, riffs and energy from the greats of east Coast hardcore and pull them together with some dream pop overtures on top to make on bad ass record.

Been following these dudes for 7 years now and seeing glow up has been tremendous. It takes a special kind of hardcore band to experiment and transcend their current style after finding previous success, and make it work so well.
