She is the best female rapper in Korea. People say she still has no better rapper than her, 20 years later. With her rap and music, she tried to keep the country of Korea from racist and to respect them. Since then, we have had an interest and love for black people and are now immersed in their history and culture. I wonder if this is the happiness that Yoon Mirae pursued 10 years ago.

as mixed black and chinese person even if I am not korean like yoon mi are but discovering this song when I was younger I was so in love because in asian media especially you rarely see anyone black or even mixed with black even these days!

Im so happy you did this one. I’ve been a pest requesting it I know but I want you to really see her perspective. She wrote this back in the late 90’s. She’s now about 39 yrs old and is our solo songbird and our Queen of KHiphop both with and without her husband Tiger JK ( of Drunken Tiger) and their best friend Bizzy in the band MFBTY. I’m sure you’ll get a million suggestions so I won’t leave any. Just THANX. Looks like I’m gonna need to edit since I don’t see many suggestions: So let’s go with first her stuff: “Kawi Bowi Bo”(rock, paper, scissors) “You and Me” ft. JunoFlo “Jam c’mon baby” (there are two versions to this song, One in Korean and an international version) She often lends her voice to Dramas so more ballad like songs are “Flower”, “Always” MFBTY (her band with her husband and bestie Bizzy) “Draw your Love”, “Bucku Bucku”“BizzyTigerYoonmirae” Also if ya get a chance listen to her husbands band Drunken Tiger. Her husbands moniker is Tiger JK...btw.

J-Hope of BTS used Black Happiness to audition at BigHit music. Yoon Mirae is one of the two featured artists (with gaeko) on his MV, Neuron. Her American name is Natasha Reid as you know. You hear her rap about Baby T on J-Hope's track. She and her husband Tiger JK received the 2024 Trailblazer Award in NY. I found her on a singing competition show, Fantastic Duo, seven years ago. There are clips of that on YT.

Finally a reaction from the Queen herself lol. Yoon is an institution along with her Husband Tiger JK. They are who I recommend to whatever holdouts are left lol. Yoon was with a group called Up-Town in the 90's. Which helped to spearhead the hip-Hop movement in SKorea at the time. Which BTW is who Jessi was with as well. Yoon took Jessi in when she was only 15. They were basically sisters in arms as no wonder Jessi is so damn good here. As you learn from the best you be the best!! Later Yoon along with her husband Tiger JK & friend Bizzy formed MFBTY & the rest is history basically. Girl has had to deal with aot of s*** but came out on top against all the odds. This is definitely an anthem but also recommend Buckubucku, KawiBawiBo, You and Me among others. Girl is a legend in music & in life for real!! :b
