If you can or if it’s possible I would suggest just installing grease fittings on the hub I’ve done it a couple times easy to change the grease pump to you see clean grease Keep it stupid simple I wouldn’t even have to take off all my breaks just the wheels
What size is this wheel bearing greaser and does it work for all 4 wheels. Other wheel bearing greasers have 2 seals why does your only need 1? great video I have a 2023 general sport 1000 xp
Looks like for your model this will work on both the front and rear bearings. The one seal always just the right amount of grease to be packed into the bearings. Making sure you don't overpack them and end up dislodging one at high speeds.
I can see this device flushing old dirty grease from the front bearing out the front, and replacing it with the new clean grease, but the rear bearing, where does the old dirty grease go in that location? Technically if you don’t pump too hard/fast, the seal keeps it from coming out the back correct?
The rear bearings will work the same as the front. Pushing grease out along the tool when there is enough inside the bearing. Pumping grease into the bearing with smooth consistent pumps is the best way to go.
You can enter your machines year, make, and model on the product page and the correct size wheel bearing greaser will come up to make sure you get the correct one. www.rockymountainatvmc.com/parts/tusk-wheel-bearing-greaser-p
I've heard many different answers for how often to grease. Anywhere from every time they see water to every 500 miles. Personally I want to try every time they see water (or as close to that as possible).
I just got back from a ride on Saturday. I didn’t grease my wheel bearings but i greased all my other points on my can am and a few of my joints pushed water from them when i was greasing . So every time it sees deep water I’m going to hit it with grease
