Glad you posted this info. We do 4 to 6 inch sand on Bighorn 2.0s and they absolutely get the job done in 2WD alone on flatland. Only need 4WD/DiffLock if we're climbing dunes greater than 30deg but these things disintegrate as soon as you hit pavement. Only mentioning because you said nothing does good in sand. Was shopping these until your review said sand was a problem so we'll search a different tire. Thanks for the input.
@@kellyduffey9066 much appreciated. I been debating on going up to larger size but not sure how the yxz is gonna respond. The 19-up yxz has a big gap from 1-2 shift that's already alot too deal with even on stock 29 inchers. (Actual height 28)
Just installed 29 “ Should be called 27 “ because they run super small. Just installed my 29x9x14 and 29x11x14 on 7 inch front stock and 8 inch stock rear rims and they barely measure 27 3/4 inches . Still 2 inches bigger then the 27” Kanati Mongrel that barely measures 25” lol 2013 Can Am Commander 1000 xt
Nice review! Here in FL and we have sugar sand all over, what would u recommend as a good sand tire since u mentioned these aren’t the best in the sand. Glad I watched this vid as these were in the cart
Did you always on 4x4 when you trail ride or on 2x4 because i look for those tire and im riding 2x4 pretty much all the time and my Maxxis liberty are gone after 2000km ahah
I have these on my Can-Am Defender XT Max HD10 and we do 98% pavement and they are doing great 1800 miles later. Make sure your tire pressure is 20PSI or you will see premature tire wear especially on front.
The ones he took off were 30’s the new ones are 32’s stock primary, secondary has been rebuilt with rollers but other than that it’s stock, it does have a dynojet tune
I live in Crawford County, Mi. and have 1000 miles on my Terrabites 27×9×12 front - 27x11x12 rears. I do mostly sandy trails and don't have trouble in the sand. Since I travel on hard roads I have 18psi on all four tires. I have my tires balance for highway speeds, its state licensed. My tires look and perform like new!
I'm doing the tusk/tusk swap soon and was worried about whether 4-3 may be too much offset.. doesn't look too extreme and I doubt it hurts the bearings too much or youda said something. oh.. are they 32 x10 x 14?. thats what I'm getting.
